“We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The place was clean and had a very nice, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we had no issues ordering our food at the bar. Our food was served very quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food — we will definitely be back!“
“This place was real nice. Very good atmosphere frendly staff and the food was excellent. Alcohol had been legal for a while now but they still hide the place in a gas station so people that see you going in there dont think you are some kind of total drunk which is nice. There was nothing weird happening in there and it didn't feel the lest bit rapey and you probably don't need to cover your drink to keep from getring roofied because it's just that kind of classy. Tom cruise probably wouldn't like it at all.“

“Play says a really cool vibe especially back in the speakeasy area. Just walk through the Coke machine door. Not a lot of food choices in the speakeasy but the out front restaurant has a much more robust menu. Order the drink called the devil made me do it 😈“

“Everything was good great atmosphere. Steak and sides were also great. My one complaint is on menu and online offer japanese a5 wagyu which they do not have. I settled for the filet, they need to remove that since they do not have what is advertised. That is what I wanted to order until we were in restaurant and found out that they don't have a true japanese a5 steak to offer.“

“We came here for the first time as a date spot! The bloody flight was great! The Big Dill Bloody was probably my favorite, especially if you are a pickle fan! We enjoyed chips and queso as an app and order the grilled cheese with tomato soup as an entree! Both were delicious! Our server, Willy was great too! We can’t wait to come back!“

“North Star Tavern absolutely crushed it for our group! We had our reservation double at the very last minute and they not only accommodated us, but were able to get us in earlier too. The host who helped coordinate everything was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. I really wish I had gotten his name because he made the whole experience so easy. And Riley, our server, despite being a Packer fan 😉, was fantastic. She handled our large group like a pro and gave us excellent service the entire time with a smile on her face. Also…that Brussel sprout salad is an absolute banger. 10/10 all around!“

“Early dinner with 7 friends. Resiling wine pour was so small and quality of wine was cheap, not sweet. For $14.00 I was very disappointed. The cobb salad was delicious. Also the brussel sprouts. Nice portion. The biggest surprise was being charged $2.00 for a cube of ice. Waitress asked one of our guests if she wanted a cube but never mentioned it would cost $2.00. while 4 other drinks came with a block cube without an extra charge. All and all it was expensive and didn't understand why no change is offered so the customer who paid $2.00 for a icecube also could not be given $.44 in change. All and all the company of friends was great, food was ok said by others. Tallow fries were soggy. The cost of an ice cube turned us all off. Most likely we won't find ourselves there again.“
“Was truly a great experience. I got the herb seared salmon, and it was incredible. I can be a not finicky when it comes to any seafood. I could not think of a complaint even if I tried. The cheesecake was also sooo good.
I am not local to the area, but would recommend this to anyone asking.“
“Note: I’ve only had drinks, apps and the pizza. Great wine selection. The pizza though was some of the best I’ve had. Service is also wonderful. I’m treated like a regular. Atmosphere wise it’s cozy and easy to carry a conversation.“

I was there for 25 years and as a top seller I can say it was the best 25 of my life. Yes, it’s a commissioned store but, they really DO see the customer. DO try to make it fun and get you what you need.“

“Food is fine. I asked for bread to go with the steak bites. I got 3 small, thin slices of white bread for $3.00. Normally a restaurant would serve bread with the meal for free. Limited menu. Pleasant service.“

“Had a takeout order from here a few weeks ago and everything we got was quite good. The real standout was the gentleman who took my order. I think he could tell I had an incredibly hard day, and he was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and compassionate. He was also fantastic with the people who came in. I’m very glad I decided to give it a try!“

“I absolutely love coming to Hope Breakfast Bar! Every time I visit I have the hardest time choosing what to get because everything on the menu sounds so delicious, and I’ve never been disappointed by what I’ve ordered. They have a very creative menu which I really appreciate and it’s all very fresh to give you the best experience possible. I highly recommend visiting!“

“Great first time experience & delicious food! My kids & I were searching for a place to have a late dinner and ended up at The Tavern. We were quickly greeted & seated, our waiter was super attentive to us, and the food was amazing! We had the walleye, juicy lucy and (grilled) chicken pasta Alfredo. Will definitely go back for a date night to try some cocktails with my husband.“
