“Awesome local Vietnamese restaurant. We always get just different variants of pho and it’s always phenomenal. The portions are very big and the ingredients all taste fresh.

The only complaint I have is that the water they serve tastes kinda weird.”

Shrimp skewers on seasoned rice was excellent along with fresh green broccoli and a salad which I took home. Portions are big. Enough for a second meal.And a complimentary ice cream sundae. Fresh made rolls were excellent as well. Service was superb. Fun place to celebrate any occasion The other 3 people at our table enjoyed the shrimp, 6 oz filet and salmon. Will definitely be returning. Very attentive staff!”

“Yesterday my family celebrated my retirement with a family lunch at my favorite restaurant - Red Robin in Apple Valley. Most of the group had never been to a Red Robin but they are now big fans just like me. The food was exceptional, Heather (our server) was fantastic, and even though we were the only ones who knew it was a special occasion, we were treated to the highest level of customer service! Heather and everyone involved in our visit made my day. Thank you so much!”

“Did someone say Jalapeno Cream Cheese Wontons?!?! I had two orders to myself when I went last and every time before that, I have ordered these- mouth watering and the sauce pairs well with them!
I tried the A$$ in the Sand drink that was recommended by our waitress Avery, ended up getting a second one of those- because yum!!!
Avery was very personable, professional, knowledgeable and attentive to our table and others around us. She checked in with us the perfect amount and we never were wondering about a wait or refills needed.
I frequent this location and another for Bingo on Saturdays and always have a great experience. I will continue returning and next time, I’m asking if I can be seated in Avery’s section! Thanks again, Avery- we loved your energy and smile!”

“Great ramen. Nice atmosphere but the lovely woman working the front made our day. She recognized my daughter was having a rough day and treated her with such kindness, she came around the counter and helped her choose what she wanted and gave her a squeeze. Our food was brought out right away and then Cat I think her name was hugged my crying daughter and whispered something to her and gave the stressed, short fused momma a hug too. Thank you for your kindness and reminder that I needed a little more patience. We will be back on a better day!”

“I love that this is not a franchise coffee shop. Their atmosphere is pretty unique and their coffee is really tasty! They extended working hours until 5 pm now. However, I would recommend to come for coffee in the morning as it is usually better. It depends who the barista is too! Last time I came at 2 pm and my cappuccino tasted exactly like brewed coffee with cream (why did I pay for my drink as a cappuccino? There was no foam whatsoever!) When I got to the coffee shop, the cashier was busy taking a phone order . Despite of 2 idling baristas, I had to wait for 5 min before anybody would start taking my order.”

“My late father used to ask me to pickup some sliders for him, and I’d always oblige him. Haven’t changed a bit. Something about cooking the meat on onions that makes the magic. If you’re worried about the fat and calories, you’ve gone to the wrong restaurant.”

I also want to give a shout out to one of the managers, Calvin who intervened when he saw a man at the bar harassing me. I didn’t even have to ask him, but he could tell I was uncomfortable and asked the man to leave. It is so refreshing to go to a bar where the staff truly cares about the well-being of their customers! Great work to this whole team! I will most definitely be back!! ?”

“Their food is decent, and they offer a good selection that rarely gets old, as they frequently update their menu. The service can be a bit inconsistent, but the staff is friendly. The seating is unique, and overall, they provide decent food.”

“I went to Dennys today. May 16th at 4:45 pm Got a cup of coffee to go from a very nice and beautiful brunette waitress. I used the the rest room and on my way there she asked me if I wanted cream and sugar, i said no thank u, came out, and she said coffee was on the house, Wow! That really made my day. “I went to meet a friend today at Apple Valley Perkins. The lot was full. I am disabled. Both senior citizen spots were filled. Three of us got there about the same time so we pulled into spots next to the senior citizen spots. One of the cashiers (long gray hair)came out throwing her arms up in the air and motioning for us to leave. I rolled down my window and she hollered, "THOSE AREN'T PARKING SPOTS!! THERE AREN'T ANY LINES!" She motions like she was making lines on the pavement The other two cars LEFT! I stayed ONLY because I was meeting a friend. SERIOUSLY? This is how you treat your customers? My friend showed up and she parked where I was going to park. The hostess was on the phone so she didn't control the parking. A while later, she came around to all the tables asking who owned the white vehicle out in the lot. We frequent Perkins a lot and have parked in those spots before with no problems. A walk from Petco is a little to much. Especially for a disabled person.”

“Great first time experience & delicious food! My kids & I were searching for a place to have a late dinner and ended up at The Tavern. We were quickly greeted & seated, our waiter was super attentive to us, and the food was amazing! We had the walleye, juicy lucy and (grilled) chicken pasta Alfredo. Will definitely go back for a date night to try some cocktails with my husband.”

“A local Rochester, MN restaurant chain -now branching out to a new location- Newt’s (Apple Valley) brings everything we love about the Rochester locations (GREAT burgers, beers, and unlimited popcorn!) to our little corner of the Metro. We were stoked when we heard Newt’s had arrived, and our first visit there certainly delivered. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Great service too! Welcome to our neighborhood Newt’s. Dining room was simple but clean. Staff was helpful and informative, got my food cooked quickly. Sandwich did not fall apart when I was eating it which was nice, care was put into creating it. “Greg was working last night, 5/15/25. He was working alone. 4 of us came in about 8p. He was waiting on a guest. He was so friendly and engaging. “Rita’s Italian ice in apple valley is the absolute best in Minnesota. Their treats are always delicious and the staff are always so friendly. The owner Julia is so kind and friendly. She is very communicative and is always willing to make our requested flavors for us. She is the best. The water ice is just like it is in Pennsylvania and it is always a wonderful treat for us. My go to treat is usually a gelati with Mint chocolate chip cream ice and vanilla soft serve. It’s the best! Thank you apple valley Rita’s! And thank you Julia especially.”

“Every time I come here the staff is working incredibly hard and efficiently. I have never experienced them being out of any ingredients, which has been a consistent issue at other chipotles in the area for me.”

“Apple Valley location off of Pilot Knob Rd. Terrible service. Employees rude. Restaurant out of a lot of items. Overcharged for something and when staff was asked about it, did nothing to change it, saying that's how they were taught by manager. Restaurant was also extremely dirty (kitchen area very messy, garbage overflowing and on floor in dining area. For a new store, it was a disaster. Won't be back for a very long time, if ever. Definitely won't be recommending to others.”

Who orders a cheeseburger with no cheese? That’s a hamburger. I can’t even with that logic and not worth the drive back.”

“Not only is this the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve been to in the South Metro but it was created with wonderful purpose, employing wonderful staff! They have special needs and food allergies all kept in mind with an abundance of selections like dairy free milks, and the gluten free treats are always stocked and taste fabulous. It’s both a quiet place to work or a fun spot to meet friends. *Notice the details when you’re here like the *Constellation* on the ceiling above the fireplace when you walk in, soft rubber floors, sound quieting walls…even better- Constellation is located on Galaxy Ave ;) Very special. It’s now my go-to! And Carrie is a rockstar!!”

“Was a little skeptical about this place after reading the other reviews but overall we had a pretty good experience. I had the Hickory smoked along with the habanero mango, which were pretty good little hint of sweet and lots of heat. Parmesan garlic was a little lacking of garlic, but overall pretty decent, fries tasty. They did forget one of the sides, but quickly replaced it with no problems. Fortunately, we were eating in so it wasn’t a big deal. I have to give extra props to Derrick at the front. He was super cool, friendly and really made the experience extra welcoming. these days it seems like customer service is a lost art form, but he’s doing it right! Keep it up Derrick!”
