“Absolutely love this place! The cocktails were so yummy and we had the best server! (I believe his name was Mike or Michael) He was friendly and answered ALL of our questions… and we had many! 😅 Will definitely be coming back!“

“Everything was good great atmosphere. Steak and sides were also great. My one complaint is on menu and online offer japanese a5 wagyu which they do not have. I settled for the filet, they need to remove that since they do not have what is advertised. That is what I wanted to order until we were in restaurant and found out that they don't have a true japanese a5 steak to offer.“

“We came here for the first time as a date spot! The bloody flight was great! The Big Dill Bloody was probably my favorite, especially if you are a pickle fan! We enjoyed chips and queso as an app and order the grilled cheese with tomato soup as an entree! Both were delicious! Our server, Willy was great too! We can’t wait to come back!“

“I’m editing my review as we gave this restaurant a second chance. We wanted to play shuffle board, the very reason why we came here the first time when I wrote the review below.

While on our way here, I was reading other customers reviews. It was surprising to see the extremes: they were either 1 star, filled with frustration, or 5 stars and abundant in praises. Would our visit be a 1 or 5 star? We hoped for 5, of course.

Well, Suzette, our waitress, made the experience start with a good impression. She was attentive and nice through our dinner. She saved the ratings! :-)

The food was surprisingly amazing, mostly after reading some of the bad reviews. I ordered the Cobb salad and an additional portion of grilled shrimp. It was very yummy with balanced pleasant flavors. My husband ordered the brisket. It was divine!! Yes, marvelously moist, soft and exploding in flavor. It was perfection!

I’m glad we tried to experience Bourbon Butcher Kitchen once again. We will be back. Hopefully it will be another 5 star experience!!!

“Great first time experience & delicious food! My kids & I were searching for a place to have a late dinner and ended up at The Tavern. We were quickly greeted & seated, our waiter was super attentive to us, and the food was amazing! We had the walleye, juicy lucy and (grilled) chicken pasta Alfredo. Will definitely go back for a date night to try some cocktails with my husband.“

I think he could tell I had an incredibly hard day, and he was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and compassionate. He was also fantastic with the people who came in. “Lunch bowl was delicious. Serving sizes were decently generous, my table got pancakes and crepes. Presentation was pretty and well thought out which I appreciated. Rice was a bit dry but I would highly recommend as a breakfast or lunch joint. and we got a table even on a busy Sunday.“
