“Been here twice now. Both times the food was delicious. The Mac and cheese is outstanding. I got it as it is on the menu with lobster on our first visit and on our second, my wife asked them to make it with no seafood but with grilled chicken instead. They were happy to do so and it was still amazing. Tried a different app and dessert each time as well and they were all tasty. Our server informed us a fall menu was just around the corner and I will be there for it! Hope this young restaurant stays around a long time.“

“Play says a really cool vibe especially back in the speakeasy area. Just walk through the Coke machine door. Not a lot of food choices in the speakeasy but the out front restaurant has a much more robust menu. Order the drink called the devil made me do it 😈“

“We went for dinner and it was spectacular. Every dish was will thought out and explained well. They adjusted the menu for my daughter's food sensitivities.

We were able to get some cocktails from next did before dinner. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the kitchen create magic.

“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“We had a great dining experience at Fireside Foundry! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the overall ambiance made for a really great evening out. What made our visit extra special was the patio, we were able to bring our dog along, which is always a huge plus for us! On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and the service was truly exceptional throughout our meal. To top it all off, everything was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.“

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! The Shrimp and Grits were reminiscent of the best of New Orleans cuisine...just enough spicy with succulent shrimp and creamy grits. Our great waiter (name?/young blondish male) advised well on wine pairing. Cousin had the Artisanal Seasonal Pasta which she found refreshing and rich, but not heavy. Our waiter was excellent, attentive, personable, and professional. Would return anytime, even if just for a bowl of the wild rice soup.“

“In a world of impersonal, screen based ordering and communication, our service from Brenda at Ike’s at MSP was like a breath of fresh air. She was prompt, courteous, engaged in relevant conversation, not scripted, and an absolute delight to talk with. The food was also a welcome departure from the reheated meal often found at other airport concessions. A little out of the way, Ike’s provided a temporary moment of authentic existence where we were treated and fed like fellow human beings.“
