New American Restaurants in Saint Paul, MN

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“We had a fantastic date night at Joan’s! Highly recommend! The food was incredible. Perfect pacing, portions, wine pairings, and the flavors have you closing your eyes to experience each bite. “After looking at multiple other restaurants in the airport. Even sitting down and leaving one, we found Ike's. Which is hidden upstairs. We had amazing food and wonderful service from Matt. This will be our go-to spot whenever traveling through MSP. Andy's kitchen burger is the perfect blend of flavors. The friendly in person service is what we look for. Thank you for not having an order from an app.“

“Wow! Like stepping into an elegant dream. I don't normally like lobster, but I could down those lobster deviled eggs all day! Be sure to order a Fitzgerald and plan on spending some time here just taking it all in.“

“Gonna preface this a little bit. I’m giving 5 stars because of my love for Brasa, but I feel the need to call a few things into question.

I’m a huge fan of Brasa, I eat it weekly (sometimes twice!) for years now. They’re a very reliable delivery staple in our house too because everything shows up hot, fresh, tasty and travels pretty well for most of the items!

That said, there’s some consistency issues at this location. The last few weeks, my go-to chicken salad sandwich has had an insane variance of how much is on the sandwich, one time they slathered guacamole on it out of nowhere, another time it was cut, several times, it’s been incredibly dry with bread that leans more stale. Perhaps the most prevalent issue in the last few weeks has been the composition of the chicken salad — there seems to be larger pieces of chicken fat or skin that really make the chewing experience unpleasant and almost gag-worthy, which is strange, because I can’t ever recall these textures in the mix before. If they’ve changed the recipe, I have to say, it’s for the worst. I’m gonna be taking a break from this meal and will try again at a later date to see if anything has changed.

A couple of other nitpicks:

- Dessert pricing is way off. $4.50 for 4 spoonfuls of pudding is wild. It’s delicious, but the value isn’t there.
- I have frequently received the wrong items, which usually ends up being a tasty surprise, but deflating when you’re looking for something specific. Improved order accuracy would be great!

Don’t let this review deter you from going to Brasa as they’re truly one of the best local chains we have here in MN and we should be showing up to support them for the quality and flavor they provide to the community. I’m just hoping these issues are a minor blip!“

I graded a 4 on food..only because out of PERSONAL preference I didn't like my food, BUT someone else at our table had the same thing and LOVED IT! “I was staying at Holiday in for the Weezer concert. Everyone was friendly all over. Made it a great experience all around. Day of the concert the Restaurant/Bar had a Weezer themed night. All the servers were very friendly but I forget her name. But the bartender with the red hair was the best. Definitely have to come back from another Concert experience and I’d stay and eat at place in a heart beat ?????“

Traveling from Manhattan on business and we were able to snag a booth in the back- which usually you’d worry about service when seated at the back of a place, right? I had a demanding client with me and she not only made sure his drink was on point, but that the food was paired well too.
