Just not what it used to be! New chairs would not hurt and for real a refresh on the decor ?? food quality varies with the staff.... Would probably come back in the summer for a glass of wine on the patio but not in any hurry...
We had not visited for a few years because the last time we went, food was just meh. We were pleasantly surprised that the quality was back to what we had remembered. Lovely pumpkin bisque and a sparkling wine flight (a bargain at $17 for a glass and a half equivalent) started us off. I had the short rib on buttery grits, and my partner had the steak special....pricey but the best steak we had ever had...a terrific Wagyu flatiron. Food was delicious. The surprise 21% fee which didn't include the tip was a surprise when the check was presented. Left a bad taste. They should be have been upfront about it.
