Moscow on the Hill Reviews
Excellent food and service, but they rush your dining enjoyment, pushing your main meal while still enjoying appetizers, suggesting they want higher table turnover over customer satisfaction. We felt rushed, likely won't return.
I eat at Moscow On The Hill every time I am in town for work. The food is always consistent, high-quality, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There’s not a bad seat in the house and the service is excellent.
You should definitely consider a stop here during your time in St Paul. I can’t wait to bring my family from Oklahoma here one day!
Very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. We will be coming back!

Moscow on the Hill is a restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with a fun and lively atmosphere. An accordion player enhances the ambiance, making it a place to enjoy great food and drinks. The menu features flavorful dishes like Chebureki, chicken Kiev, cabbage rolls, and cheese bread, all of which have received high praise. Reviewers also recommend the Siberian Pelmeni and Kamchatka Salad, highlighting their authentic taste. The restaurant is known for its consistent, high-quality dishes and has a cozy, warm atmosphere. There is not a bad seat in the house, and the service is excellent—friendly and prompt in clearing glasses and dishes. Guests have enjoyed the house-infused vodka, especially the cherry flavor, and the vodka flights, including the popular 007 (dirty) martini. Recently, a group of diners appreciated the cordial and efficient waitstaff, who helped make their pre-arranged lunch enjoyable. While there were minor issues with additional fees and check splitting, these did not detract from the overall positive experience. The Russian-European cuisine offers something new and exciting for adventurous eaters, with options like white knight and mule variations. Overall, Moscow on the Hill is a recommended destination for those looking to try something different in a vibrant setting.
