We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!
I love their beef brisket and the St. Louis style ribs. I have done takeout and eat in; great experiences.
The food was so good and really reasonably priced.

Old Southern BBQ - 45th & France offers generous portions of tasty BBQ. The brisket, mac, and cornbread are kickin' with great flavor, and the sauces are the best around. Smoked holiday leftovers, like a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and a smoked ham for Easter, are outstanding and highly memorable. Prices are reasonable, though some feel over $40 for two to go should be a little more. The food makes up for the basic tables and amenities. ALL the staff are very nice, friendly, and helpful. This BBQ joint is towards the top for Minneapolis, with a sauce that is Kansas City style and a Chicago themed sauce for a spicy edge. A good place to eat take out BBQ without needing a place to go.
