“- Came on a Saturday night. Chicken was a 10/10 and so were the potatoes, some were soft and some were crispy they were perfect. Sauce is amazing and so is the smoky flavor. I got double potatoes instead of a second side, good decision. The chicken dinner came with cornbread and it was pretty good.
- Customer service was great everyone seemed happy to be there.
- Ribs were okay, 6 or 7/10. Wasn’t tender enough. Hot link was a little dry but good enough to try again. They also forgot a side of beans on our order which we didn’t realize until getting home which sucked.
Half chicken meal with potatoes is a must!!
Get extra sauce!!!! Will definitely go back for it.“

“Their burger is my #1. But I'm here to compliment the philly. It is the best philly I've had in MN. The beef is seasoned perfectly, but the bread is really what sets it apart. it's kind of like a garlic bread without all the garlic and butter, yet it is perfect! I hope y'all have a chance to try it :)!“

“We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!“

“My mom and I had different variations of Poke! So delicious and employees are friendly. You get alot of poke in comparison to rice which was a nice surprise!!“

“Best baked beans! SITP is a small business - known for their smoked meats and southern-style sides - located on Chicago Ave just north of 38th Street (George Floyd Square). Dwight (co-owner with his spouse Ivy), let me place an order in advance for baked beans for 10 people, even though they were technically going to be closed to focus on some big orders for the July 4 holiday. The flavor was so delicious - and got rave reviews from my friends. They have a sidewalk patio and a street deck for dining. There was plenty of street parking. If you can't make it there but want to support the business, there is a gofundme on their website. The last few years have been tough on small businesses in the area - and now (summer 2026) the intersection is under construction. They support the community - stop by for some bbq take out, order catering for your next gathering or support them however you can.“

“Food always hits here. The Turkey tips are my favorite, juicy turkey bits and bbq sauce on a bed of crispy fries. I’ve also tried the Turkey dogs, tacos, lasagna, turkey burger, and Turkey legs. Everything is a slam dunk!!“

“Had been waiting for this location to open back up. This is not a traditional setup but is an amazing concept. It is setup like a cafeteria. First you pick box, platter, or bowl then select your meat, before moving to side selection, and finally paying. Everything is boxed in front of you. While the menu choices are paired down, there is still a great selection of meats, sides, and desserts. I don't know if you could have dessert as a side option at a regular Famous Dave's but this one does allow that, which is a nice choice if you want a meat, side, and dessert. As far as prices, they are comparable. Without a drink, you could spend $10-20 a person. Potions sizes are good and for things like the ribs, you can pick 4, 6, or 12 sections. This location also still has the Family Feasts, which is a great option when you want to feed a few people.“

“Thouroughly enjoyed an anniversary dinner with my wife on Sunday 12/17. It was a unique experience, the food was great, the prices were fair, and the service was superb. It was a fun food adventure for both of us, and we are already planning our next visit.“
