“I went there for the first time in quite a while. And the improvements and new stores opening, quite awesome. The food varieties was excellent! I was very interested in the Blue Crab... They also have an excellent arcade! (ATM wasn't working, so I couldn't give some games a try) Needless to say, next time I go to Asia Mall, I will bring some change!“

“Went to PaPa Q's today for the first time and was more than impressed! The food was incredible, some of the best BBQ I have had in MN. I reccomend checking them out, the menu has a ton of options and the prices are good.“

“Not like any other Famous Dave I’ve ever been to(this being my first time at this location since I live around here but have been to others here in MN), smaller than usual you go up to the counter to Orders and yeah. If you like smaller then come here, if you like counter service rather than table service where a server comes up to you and takes your order and such then this is for you. Was skeptical at first cuz thought a to-go order only restaurant but the nice blk old lady said they aren’t.
Will return since it’s a lot smaller(and closer to home) whenever I’m around since I live close by.“

“A Tale of Steaks and Spirits at Whiskey Inferno During our weekend escape to the metro area for the Renaissance Festival, my family and friends—nine of us in all—ventured to Savage, to dine at the much-anticipated Whiskey Inferno Meat House & Craft Bar. As an aficionado of ribeyes, having sampled them across the nation, I was eager to see how this establishment would stack up. --Atmosphere and Appetizers: A Promising Start-- The ambiance was delightful, setting the stage for what we hoped would be a memorable meal. Our culinary journey began with three orders of cheese curds that vanished almost as quickly as they arrived—truly a testament to their irresistible charm. --The Main Event: A Steak Saga-- The moment of truth arrived with six steaks gracing our table: five ribeyes and one New York strip. Each steak was accompanied by mashed potatoes and a side of our choice. The green beans, adorned with carrot slices, were a hit. However, my ribeye, alas, was not. It ranked among the top ten worst steaks I've ever encountered, lacking any semblance of seasoning or flavor. Its gray, lifeless appearance was a harbinger of disappointment. Despite the enticing descriptions online, none of us managed to finish our steaks—a disheartening outcome, especially at nearly $50 per plate. --The Silver Lining: Whiskey Wonderland-- If you're a whiskey enthusiast, this is your paradise. The selection is vast, with more pages dedicated to whiskey than the entire food menu. It's a whiskey lover's dream, offering flights and an extensive list that could keep you exploring for days. --Final Thoughts: A Two-Star Experience-- While the whiskey selection might tempt you to stay, the steaks leave much to be desired. The lack of flavor and the unresponsive service when our plates were returned untouched were disappointing. This experience earns a two-star rating, salvaged only by the impressive whiskey offerings. If you're in the metro area, consider Whiskey Inferno for drinks and appetizers, but perhaps look elsewhere for a steak that lives up to its promise. We know we can count on the Renaissance Festival to be as fantastic as ever!“

“Not happy with the takeout. Last 2 times I've done this, my order was wrong. I've ordered the loaded potato and both times have gotten home and all I had was a plain potato“

“What a great spot! Had an early dinner here with my wife last night. The owners were super nice and gave us the run down! Super friendly, I got the three meat plate (sliced brisket, pork and sausage) with beans, dirty rice and Texas toast! Good portions for the cost! Pork was my favorite, the brisket could have been a tad more moist and sausage was just ok. My wife got the rib special, the ribs were good but it seemed like we had some that were old/dry and not as fresh and others that were great. Some fell right off the bone which was nice, I noticed the membrane was still on the ribs which is not typical? Very cozy vibes in here though! Oh they also had a homemade BBQ sauce that was perfect, not too smoky and just the right consistency! We will be back to try some more! Cheers!“
