The mussels were amazing and the grilled bread along with was perfection. The rarebit took our words away- special, unique and craveable- highly recommend. The Caesar was actually something- fresh, perfectly light and savory sharp. The arroz con leche made my parents mumble delighted approval... All the drinks were complex and amazingly balanced (the Verde is my fav and very refreshing).(Petite Leon- PLEASE dont take the rarebit off the menu!)“

Their wine list is extensive and amazing, and the servers are amazingly knowledgeable about them. The food is delicious too: mezze, flatbreads, charcuterie. The ambiance is just lovely. “My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!“

A friend ordered the G.O.A.T. toast (on gluten-free bread) and let me take a nibble - divine! The retail side had a ton of great merch (those basil olives!!! *chef’s kiss!*) that we also stocked up on. And my family was pleasantly surprised to be the recipients of fresh takeout pastries and some Milkjam ice cream! We had such a fantastic time! There are ample outlets for the remote worker, and enough choices to satisfy all kinds of palates and dietary needs. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!“

“When we discovered The Tasting Room we were looking for somewhere special to celebrate my Husband’s 50th birthday. We came to the Tasting Room and I contacted the owner and head chef, Nico, over email. Nico was very responsive and provided great communication the entire time, making the planning process much less stressful. Nico was able to accommodate all our needs easily.Once we got to the restaurant, we were escorted to a beautiful private room in the establishment's basement. The room was designed to resemble a speakeasy and had a large wine cellar in the back of the room.Once everyone arrived, Nico began to present a wine tasting to us himself. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and was able to present that information entertainingly. The wines he had picked out tasted delicious as well. Along with the wine tasting, Nico and his marvelous staff served a wonderful dinner consisting of Black Caviar, Olive Oil Poached Salmon, a wonderful Wagyu Beef Zabuton, and more wonderful items. Throughout the entire service, the staff was attentive and kind and ensured that we and our guests were taken care of.For the high-quality service, the price was also quite reasonable. We recommend the Tasting Room to anyone, and we will be coming back.“

Pimento Cheese Dip and Chips

“In love with the vibe of this place, it is dark and rustic with light wood, velvet upholstered seating, and minimal decor. The feel is a bit pretentious, but not off putting in my opinion. The food is mostly small bites and a couple sandwiches, and the wine and drinks menu is fairly priced and thoughtful.I got the olives and pickled vegetables, and the eggplant red pepper dip with crudités. The picked veg was great- crunchy carrots, cauliflower and other veg pickled to vinegary perfection. The olives were big meaty Castlevetrano olives. For me things went downhill with the dip and vegetables. The dip was sweet and spicy, but the assortment of vegetables was not my cup of tea. I didn’t touch the celery or the green onion (was I supposed to eat that on its own..?) The cooked mushrooms were good and the quality of the vegetables were great, but I should’ve asked what veg was included before ordering. Also, a bit of bread included with this would be a nice addition, without needing to order it separate and pay extra. The apricot old fashioned was okay- a tad sweet up front and bitter on the end. I was happy with it but it is on the sweeter side.Overall I did enjoy Dutch Bar. 2 small plates and 2 drinks were about $50 and they do add a hospitality service fee, but such is the current climate when dining out.I will also mention there was a strong smoky cooking smell in the place. However, I am eager to visit again and try out a few other items!“

Not only did he end up letting us sample more than expected, he also gave us a great lesson on his company and the evolution of wine in MN.Last weekend, I was back with a group of 11. This time we were there for the limo tour (listed on their website). I highly recommend. We all had such a good time. It was completely worth the cost when we split it up evenly per person.“

“Visiting Minneapolis, and found this place close to our Airbnb. Their salty dog was amazing. Dark chocolate, caramel and salt. Not powerfully sweet- think slightly veering to a savory hot cocoa. “Great service and like the new take on the place but who tf wrote this drink menu? Vodka in a mojito? Ginger ale in an old fashion? Assuming new ownership but can you have someone who knows standard recipes write your recipes, even with being "crafted" like tossing blueberries in a mojito without changing the foundational recipe which never includes vodka, please? Christ. At these prices you'd think the foundations you add on would at least be accurate. Also, $12 for drinks that have well liquor is pretty shameful as well, just make them all the $13 drinks with call liquor. Smfh. Great service, though“
