The crab cakes were delicious and I appreciate that it came with 3 cakes instead of the normal 2 at most restaurants. My fiance and my teen ordered the chicken and waffles. Warning, the chicken was hot!! My son says he'll get regular strips next time. My fiance liked them. I ordered the New Orleans salmon. My dish was good however with the name New Orleans, I expected way more flavor. I had to add a decent amount of salt to my food and I NEVER use salt. Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. “Kruse Market is wonderful! We enjoyed the Rainbow Bowl, What’s Wrong with Basic toast, Masala Chai Tea, and Blueberry Hills coffee. All were fantastic! A friend ordered the G.O.A.T. toast (on gluten-free bread) and let me take a nibble - divine! The retail side had a ton of great merch (those basil olives!!! *chef’s kiss!*) that we also stocked up on. And my family was pleasantly surprised to be the recipients of fresh takeout pastries and some Milkjam ice cream! We had such a fantastic time! We came to the Tasting Room and I contacted the owner and head chef, Nico, over email. Nico was very responsive and provided great communication the entire time, making the planning process much less stressful. Nico was able to accommodate all our needs easily.Once we got to the restaurant, we were escorted to a beautiful private room in the establishment's basement. The room was designed to resemble a speakeasy and had a large wine cellar in the back of the room.Once everyone arrived, Nico began to present a wine tasting to us himself. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and was able to present that information entertainingly. The wines he had picked out tasted delicious as well. Along with the wine tasting, Nico and his marvelous staff served a wonderful dinner consisting of Black Caviar, Olive Oil Poached Salmon, a wonderful Wagyu Beef Zabuton, and more wonderful items. “Although it’s a little tucked away in deluxe plaza, Gray Fox a nice café with good atmosphere for reading or working. I got a black coffee with a cake donut (total $6.65; $3.00 12oz coffee + $2.65 cake donut + $1.00 tax) and both were very good! The coffee was actually better and cheaper than most cafés in Minneapolis. It does have a very open environment, but I think it adds a unique atmosphere. Definitely would recommend for a quick stop before starting your day!“

The linguine was just right and the salmon meaty and moist. I can't stand overcooked salmon and Crave does not disappoint. You're much better off calling the local restaurant and talk to one of the delightful and helpful workers. They will take care of you better than the corporate run crappy online option.“
