Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Timothy, the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect pairings for our meal. “My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!“

“We absolutely love The Tasting Room! Every time we go it feels like a little culinary exploration. This time we had the charcuterie board with a wine flight and finished with the lava cake and dessert wine, and everything was phenomenal!

Nico and Drew is always so helpful and makes the best suggestions. We love being able to tell them what we like and have them recommend different wines and pairings for us to try. It crates a unique experience and is so much fun. One of the reasons we keep coming back.

“We visited Herbst for our wedding anniversary date this year and had a great experience! We got a complimentary prosecco toast to kick things off. I got a signature cocktail that was gin based and had great flavor! Green beans (8/10), Arrabiata pasta (9/10), bread w bone marrow marmalade (7/10 - we would’ve skipped the marmalade), pork chop (8/10), mushroom chicken (10/10). We enjoyed the fresh ingredients in everything! We’d likely come back here again, as the menu rotates often.“

“I represent the old school that remembers this as Anthony's Warf. Back when they played Grateful Dead before the preppy crowd showed up. Loved this spot back in that day.
A group of college buddies and I decided to re-create our wonderful happy hour days there under its new name, the Cabana Club.
I got there early, around 4 o'clock, to reserve a table for 6 - 8 people. They were totally unwilling to work with me, saying that they needed at least half my group to be able to give me a table. Then, when half my group showed up, they still would not give me a table for six. Make up your mind! We ended up with six people, crammed around a table for four. Not the end of the world but ...
That being said, they had a good crowd on a Tuesday night. Just keep it in mind that they won't accommodate your group unless they all show up on time. Unrealistic.
Once we had a table, our server, Matt, was outstanding. HH beer at $5 was a good deal and the HH Smash Burgers were very good. Still an outstanding location.“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“Someone at The Capital Grille must have read Will Guidara’s Unreasonable Hospitality, because this experience was such a perfect example of what it means to make people feel genuinely special.

In casual conversation, we mentioned that we were headed to a show at the Orpheum that evening and that we had gotten married three weeks earlier. That was it. We weren’t there celebrating our wedding or expecting any special recognition.

But they listened.

Before we knew it, little confetti hearts appeared on our table, and later they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, beautifully arranged on a tray to acknowledge our recent marriage.

They were small gestures, but that’s exactly what made them so meaningful. They noticed something personal, remembered it, and found a way to turn an ordinary dinner before a show into an experience that felt uniquely ours.

Everything is organized and easy to find. There’s pretty much everything you can think of pots & pans, kitchen gadgets, utensils, etc.“

“Went there for breakfast. Unfortunately the bar was open during my stay but breakfast was served there. Typical grab and go stuff but the hot breakfast item they did have was amazing and really good value. I was stuffed after eating that breakfast“

Rolled eyes when we didn’t order alcohol and said “I guess” when my mother (who has memory issues and was there celebrating her birthday) asked for ice water. Then yelled at her (literally) for grabbing a pitcher of water off an empty table. Never checked on us once. The guy delivering the food gave a better experience just dropping it off than we had with her the entire time. I waited table for fifteen years and never once rolled my eyes at someone. Her tone and facial expressions were beyond rude. If she can’t act like she’s nice she might need a new job. The rest of the staff was BEYOND friendly so she really gave off a rotten apple vibe.“

The mac and cheese is hands down the best I’ve ever had creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked. My only suggestion would be to leave the turkey leg whole, so I can enjoy breaking into it myself!“

“In Fargo, service is not great. i had one bite of my meal and told waiter he could take it. He never asked why, if anything was wrong, just grabbed it and walked away. I wasn't expecting anything other than for him to know why my meal was not hardly touched. He never came back to table until he brought us the bill.“
