“First time trying. Got a rack of ribs, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and pit beans. Meat was on point and very juicy and sides had great flavors popping.very tasty and will be going back again.”

“today was my first day visiting this location and it will not be my last. The food was spectacular and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I can’t believe it took me so long to find this beautiful gem. I will definitely be returning soon.”
“Good food and nice relaxing atmosphere. This is a treat for me as I spent $30 just on myself - shrimp trio was so good. Staff was helpful and very pleasant. I would eat her again just not for a bit due to it being a treat with loads of calories but the calories tasted amazing! Please tip servers well as they are amazing..”

“First time I visited since Veterans Day. Your sticker indicated a three percent service fee due to supply chain issues. Why don’t you just raise your prices to cover those issues. If the supply chaiin issues are solved you can offer a price rollback. I’ll find another place that posts their prices instead of service charging.”

“I came here with my mom for lunch on Friday to take advantage of their $13 soup, salad, and breadsticks offer.
We came in and it seemed really busy because the waiting room was full, but it was just a large group. They seated us promptly.
We were served by Rebekah. She was great — quick service and a great attitude. She also offered refills on our lunch items consistently.
The food was good. Not much to say here — it’s Olive Garden! But it was consistent and delicious.
Would recommend!”
“North Star Tavern absolutely crushed it for our group! We had our reservation double at the very last minute and they not only accommodated us, but were able to get us in earlier too. The host who helped coordinate everything was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. I really wish I had gotten his name because he made the whole experience so easy. And Riley, our server, despite being a Packer fan 😉, was fantastic. She handled our large group like a pro and gave us excellent service the entire time with a smile on her face. Also…that Brussel sprout salad is an absolute banger. 10/10 all around!”
“A MUST TRY! A hidden Gem, literally. This great resturant is inside of an office building on the first floor and not seen from outside. Great food, amazing friendly service. Its worth looking deeper to find and I highly recommend it. Call the resturant if your lost, they will help you find your way to great food. Thanks for the excellent service and food!”
“Beautiful atmosphere and exceptional service. Food was very good. Sirloin. Fish. Appetizers. All perfectly prepared. Highly recommend carrot cake for department served with any signal ice cream and caramel sauce. As good as the restaurant was, it was the tea experience with dessert with blew my mind. Exquisite Tea Forte teas (highly recommend the ginger lemongrass with the carrot cake). Served with a mini jar of honey and the most amazing tea timer. Will absolutely dine here again when I'm in the area.”
“Nicole, James and your waitress with the last name Dixon were outstanding! The food was amazing and so were the drinks! The staff was very friendly! All I wanted for my birthday was bubba gumps and the one by us closed so it was worth driving from chicago to go eat there.”
“Welcome to the neighborhood Nine Mile!! First timer…loved the beer, pretzels, popcorn. Very knowledgeable staff. Patio was being constructed when we were there, looks awesome. One suggestion, please consider changing the uncomfortable chairs (tables of two) by the windows looking over the patio. Fortunately, we were able to find bar chairs to move to where we met other customers who moved for the same reason. We’ll be back to enjoy the patio! Cheers!”

“This is cheesy as hell to write about, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me a cheesy Gordita crunch that’s - actually- delicious. Every single Taco Bell lately has given me the lamest, driest little depression-era crunches, so this was a refreshing surprise.”
“My favorite restaurant at the mall. Have been coming here almost 30 years. Best mac and cheese ive ever had - every time i come i try to order something else but just end up getting the mac.”
“Today at this Applebee's we had an amazing server. His name is Ben and he was outstanding. Though we had a light order, he made us feel welcomed and cared for. In this world where we live, some people call that normal. I call it attention to detail. Focus, and knowing your client's needs before they even sit down. Will definitely be back.”
Takeout Restaurants
“My daughter and I just had the *most* delicious lunch here! Highly recommend and we will be back! (This time we had Bangalore style masala dosa, onion dosa with chutney’s and sambar & a wonderful palak paneer with cardamom infused rice) but there is so much great South Indian food on this menu that I look forward to revisiting!”
“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. Now if you only had your fried chicken back on the menu, my favorite. See you soon”
“Really solid quick service Greek food, especially when you consider that it came from a mall food court! Enjoyed the gyro pita with the flavorful meat and the Spanakopita which was nice a crispy with the phyllo dough. There was only one person working when I was there so things were moving a little slowly but they were trying their best.”

“A great place for Vietnamese cuisine. They have good broken rice platter with excellent grilled pork (it is lemongrass marinated). Their Bo Luc Lac is also good usually, except today when it is somewhat less marinated or something. The best thing here that my son likes is the crispy noodle, it was similar to the styles of Noodle World in California but this one is actually better IMHO.”
“The rule of thumb for an ice cream place:
it must be staffed by either high schoolers (or people who look like they should be kept in high school until they look their age),
or jovial Eastern/Southern European (or Turkish) males over the age of 55 that have emigrated to North America prior to the year 2010.
This store passes the rule of thumb. Therefore, the product is good and I can recommend it with a clean conscience.”
“These fine folk now how a REAL stop and fricken slop (food wise 😏) meal goes. You want a place that gives you a burrito bowl, well here you go. This is the ONLY place that fills my belly of the good stuff, I'm talking their carnitas and veggies are on point. (Not to mention the make some mean rice)
I understand that it's not a local wide chain place yet. But God damn, if I am ever on vacation.. hope they became at least a few more locations. Love this place to a T!!!
Added photo of my old bestie/ bird boyfriend because he would have enjoyed this place as much as I did. #RIP Ike. <3”

“Consistently delicious, every meal, every time. The atmosphere is beautiful with all the windows, dark wood, cozy seating and water feature. And the staff is so friendly and professional.”

“I visited last Estancia yesterday for the first time and I am so glad I did! Their baked goods are fresh and delicious (I bought many to try)! I highly recommend them. And they carry Guatemalan sweet bread which is not easy to find in the Twin Cities. I am on the Board of Directors of the Saint Paul non-profit Common Hope which helps children and families in Guatemala improve their lives through education, healthcare, improved housing and family development. I will share with all locals who love Guatemala that we can get sweet bread locally! Gracias!”

“We just randomly walked by and saw this place and of course my 6 year old was obsessed! The line was long but we didn’t care cause it was so interesting watching them make the characters with cotton candy! I was surprised how different the flavors were (in a good way) and my daughter’s day was made! Next time we go we are going to try the ice cream burrito. So worth it!”
“Over the years I have tried the companion to a good cup of coffee, cinnamon coffee cake. I am not naive enough to think I have tried them all. Quite the contrary. But after trying Nickola's Bakery cinnamon coffee cake, I can safely say that I have found a superior favorite. Without any doubt a 5 star product from a 5 star bakery. I would be remiss to stop here since a superior product requires superior people to produce the product. The people contributing their talents at Nikola's Bakery deserve a 5 star rating also.”
“First time to Caribou coffee. I had a great first experience! My coffee was delicious, perfect balance of chocolate and espresso. The staff was friendly. Very cute standalone building with indoor options and outdoor options. Fun merch you can buy. Lovely bakery items. bonus, it was cheaper than other coffee shops!”
“Ashlea S was the most amazing server I’ve had at a restaurant in a longtime. She was so pleasant and joyful. She made great suggestions to make my meal better. She moved with grace and efficiency throughout the restaurant from table to table with the same charm and joy. I would hire her in a heartbeat. And, the walleye and wildrice soup were both great. Bravo!”
“You do not have to work in the building to go here. This is a full open to the public caribou. Location with online ordering and food items. They have reserved the closest several parking spaces to the Caribou entrance on the bottom floor of the parking garage, and it is very quick to get in and out.”
“Wow. What an amazing experience at the Applebees on lyndale. Truly one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Sue was absolutely impeccable. She was thoughtful, engaged, and present in making sure that everyone was well served during our dine-in experience. 10/10 the absolute peak of casual dining.”
“Place was fun and service was great. My kids sweet 16th party was a success. they had a blast!”
“This place is simply amazing. Im an old guy who travels a lot and the waitress London was absolutely wonderful. She recommended a drink that was not on the menu bet fit the taste I was looking for. The appetizer was great as well. Ask for this server and you will see. She truly wants you to have a great experience. Thank you!”
“4 Stars – Crêpes, Romance & a Little Paris in Bloomington 🥐✨ It was one of those mornings where you want breakfast to feel like a little love story. We slipped into Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café on the north end, first floor of Mall of America, and for an hour, the world outside could wait. The space was effortlessly elegant, the kind of place where you linger a little longer, and the staff—guided by an attentive general manager—made it feel as if our table was the only one that mattered. We shared the Nordic Crêpe, bursting with savory flavor, and the Bonne Maman—French for good mother and as sweet as its name. I sipped an Iced Strawberry Matcha that was so pretty it felt like wearing pearls before noon. Everything was délicieux, the kind of food you want to both savor slowly and order again immediately. We almost ordered a third crêpe but stopped ourselves, deciding instead to save that moment for another day… with our daughter at the table. Because isn’t the best part of a perfect morning knowing you get to fall in love with it all over again?”
“Our server Austin was a breath of fresh air after a hectic day of shopping. His food and drink suggestions were solid at a time I had no desire to think about what to eat. Our apps, drinks and entrees were delicious. I will definitely be back!”
“The absolute best customer service ANYWHERE! I can tell you … as a past employee there,,,,they do their best to fill a need but do it in a fun way! I was there for 25 years and as a top seller I can say it was the best 25 of my life. Yes, it’s a commissioned store but, they really DO see the customer. DO try to make it fun and get you what you need.”

“Service was fantastic - they were helpful, fast and friendly. Food was delicious! Their pita bread was warm and tasty. We tried the mushroom, falafel, and traditional potato samosa rolls. The potato samosa rolls were scrumptious and we will be coming back for more!!”

“Went in to grab a milkshake to go. Despite being short staffed the people working there were very nice and were quick to help me. That being said, the milkshake was at best average. For spending $14 on a milkshake, I expected either a large amount or at least a very tasty one, but I honestly wouldn't recommend it over any other chain restaurant's milkshake offerings.”

“20/10!!! The service was amazing! I did not get the name of the person who helped me but they made our night! So helpful as we had never been before. They went out of their way to let us try multiple flavors and make recommendations. I ended up with this and it was delicious! I wish we lived closer to go more often! They also offered to take a picture for our family, which was so kind! Go here and support a super cute business with great service and delicious treats!”
“What a cool coffee shop in the South Loop of Bloomington. Great pastries and plenty of types of coffee and tea to choose from. Easy parking all around. Sit back and enjoy the murals and art of the South Loop.”
“Leave your prejudice behind because this market is a trip. This is like going to East Africa. A Somalian restaurant and market located around the corner from the Mall of America, perhaps a mile down the street from MOA. The food is original and there are no big thrills, East African cuisine as you’d get in Somalia or Kenya. The food is tasty and it’s a hub for Somali cabbies (taxi) drivers. There is a market too. Worth to get camel meat from the tiny meat market. There is a little room for the men but I’ve never seen there any women. Worth exploring every aisle in the market.”
