“I took a chance and gave it a go. Took the dive for the Mango Chicken. It was good, sauce was a little thick and sticky, but the fried rice was very nice. Veggie Spring roll was cooked nice, not overdone but was stick a little dry. All and all it was good, not fantastic, but worth another try someday.“

“Ordered pick-up from this spot tonight for the first time and it was excellent. Probably the best Thai food we've had in a long time and we have some great Thai options in Minneapolis. The pricing is great for the value of what is provided and the current cost of goods and they clearly labeled our curries as gluten free after I asked if they could please be made so in the comments after not seeing if they were GF. It was a thoughtful reassurance on the part of their staff. Our two year old loved the chicken satay, which were referred to as chicken popsicles, which is gross but peaked his interest. The mild curry was still a bit spicy for him but it looked good enough for him to try even with our warning. We will definitely be hitting them up again soon! Thank you!“

“I haven’t been here in person but have been ordering food from here about once a week for the last few months. Thai is my absolute favorite food and I order it once a week as a treat. I’ve tried just about every Thai place that on uber eats for my locations. Lanna’s is the best consistently!! Thank you Lanna Thai for being a bright spot in my week“

“I’ve been coming here for my green Thai curry for over 10 years. If you like spicy food definitely make sure to ask because they spice for the whites. But the flavors, service and overall experience here is unmatched. The interior is beautiful and everything on the menu has a delightfully fresh taste of high quality.“

“The pad see ew, pad thai, and thai tea were good. Our pickup order was accurate and ready on time. They weren't kidding about the spice warning!
Just fyi - the turn in is a little weird, it's not in the same lot as the Dairy Queen but you can walk over if you end up there accidentally“

“We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always great. The egg noodle curry is my favorite dish and I have a hard time ordering anything else, but whenever I do, or when my companions share (beef salad was a recent hit!) the dishes are also fantastic.“

“I ate here for the first time this week. And I felt that I was back in Thailand. I ordered Thai Noodle soup. (GUAY TIEW). I was stationed there for one year during the Viet Nam War, and ate Thai food every day. Went back to visit in 2019 for 3 months. Returning this winter to live there. Anyways, I have been to several restaurants in search for this dish here at home. And never could find one that was the same. Many were Vietnamese that served Pho and is not the same. It looks the same but the flavor is different. Only Thai cooks, especially from the Issan area have the secret recipe I guess. Guay Tiew is one of the top dishes in Thailand. Right up there with Pad Thai and Tom Yum, etc. I believe that it does not get noticed because there is not a long list of ingredients and spices like most dishes. Also had a perfect Thai Coffee and a Singha beer. The Lady that waited on me was the best one could ask for. Please try the Thai Noodle Soup, (Guay Tiew) for a treat.“

“An absolutely gorgeous little restaurant that smells good as soon as you walk in the door. The gentleman serving us was considerate, fast, and kind. Honestly some of the best Thai food I've had in Minneapolis and with the reasonable pricing and excellent service it's hard to beat.
We had Pad See Ew, Papaya salad, Drunken Noodles. Also the Thai iced tea and a mango juice. Mild is Minnesotan appropriate (very low spice at no cost to flavor) and the medium builds slowly over the meal.“

“Kindee Thai Kitchen in Minneapolis is a gem for Thai food lovers! My partner and I recently visited and were delighted with our experience. We ordered the drunken noodles and pad thai, and both dishes were bursting with authentic Thai flavors.
The drunken noodles were perfectly cooked, with a great balance of spice and savory flavors. The protein was cooked to perfection and the fresh veggies added a nice crunch. The portion size was generous, making it perfect for sharing.
The pad thai was equally impressive, with a sweet and tangy sauce coating the noodles, tofu, and veggies. The crushed peanuts on top added a nice crunch and depth of flavor.
Overall, Kindee Thai Kitchen exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return to try more of their delicious dishes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a taste of Thailand in Minneapolis!“

“INCREDIBLE food! So incredible that we went there 2 nights in a row while visiting our daughter. Over the course of the two nights we enjoyed Drunken Noodles with Chicken (twice - it was that good), sashimi, the best miso soup I have ever tasted, vegetable egg rolls that were super delicious, laab, green curry with tofu and red curry with tofu. Absolutely outstanding service - they make you feel like you've known the servers for years, and the food is incredible. Would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could!“

“Coolest server I've had in a long time. Arrived with my husband and kids. We were headed to a Guthrie show and wanted to eat quickly but didn't want to put on the pressure. Server noticed our tickets on the table and said he'd try to get out food out soon so we could get to the show! And he did!... So thoughtful and accommodating!!!
I have actually been eating at this Sawatdee for many years, but had had some very meh experiences a handful of years ago, So hadn't been in while. Was impressed this time! Tried the green curry and it was Solid!“

“Have enjoyed this restaurant for years and years. On a recent visit (January 2025), I ordered my usual panang chicken curry. It was much spicier than I remembered it, but I’m certain the fault was with my
memory, as the more bites I took, the more I realized the perfection of the spice level. I tried adding a small amount of the house-made chili sauce, but it didn’t need it. It was perfect just the way it came out of the kitchen.
Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten-free options.“

“You guys, I just moved to EP and was looking for a great Asian place to eat at and I found it! I'm picky about food. Granted I've only been here twice since I moved (which should mean something, bc I came back again), but I haven't been disappointed with anything I've ordered yet. I like to try something new every time and I have no complaints.
Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I did? Jk
Go eat! Enjoy! You're welcome.“
