“Waiting on my new tires to be placed on my car, I popped by to grab some lunch. It's just a few steps away from Discount Tires. It was spic and span clean inside, nice decor and I was greeted by a nice young lady upon entering. Service was fast and I enjoyed my order. I looooove Curry puffs, so I got an order of those and a 6pc fried wing. This location isn't too far from my job, so I'll definitely stop by for lunch.“
“I like Thai food so i was interested in this place when i saw the word Thai in front. I ordered Pad Thai but it has a very weird taste and watery conpared to pad thai i had in Thailand and other restaurants in US before. Other than that i dont see much food that is genuinely from Thailand.I came back in the other dat and ordered some rice with bang bang chicken and fish but the rice was too dry. It was not well cooked. And they charged more money when i added fish but i didnt notice. They didnt say that on the menu either. The only place you could see was a small label in the glass wall that covered the food.I came back one more time today and ordered some noodle and mango chicken. It was okay. Everything here seems deep fried and covered with sweet sauce but it is fine to me. I still like it sometimes. And this is a food court, not restaurant.“
“I’ve been looking for a good Thai restaurant since I moved to Minnesota 2 years ago. And I finally found it. The food is PHENOMENAL. The spice is not a joke. But the staff is so kind and courteous. Best customer service by a long shot. I felt nothing but welcomed.“
“Fantastic service, friendly staff, very good prices. All around an amazing to place to stop by when your in the area!Vegetarian options: They had all sorts of various vegan options like tofu and vegan spring rolls. Also had the option to not have any meat for many dishesParking: A large parking lot“
“I've been coming here for almost 2 years now REGULARLY. I have ordered the same drink every time, and never get sick of it. It's consistently the best thing I have ever tasted. The workers are also so kind!! They've never failed to make me smile, and they recognise me as the girl who orders the same thing every time haha... I have never had a bad experience here, and the food is just as amazing as the drinks!! Genuinely one of my favourite places nearby.FOR LILY AND JOEY WHEN I GO OFF TO COLLEGE:Order the Okinawa milk tea with strawberry bursting boba and strawberry jelly!!Kid-friendliness: Great environment!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, and alll tables are generously spaced.“
“Lanna Thai is our new favorite Thai restaurant! Ate dinner there last night and it was great. I had the chicken pad Thai and my husband ordered the yellow curry with chicken over rice. We shared and both were great. Apple, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. The place is small so you may not want to go during busy times but take out is an option as well.“
“We order pickup from Pad Thai around 3 to 4 times per month and absolutely love this place. Excellent flavors, nice sized portions and overall very good value for money.Vegetarian options: Most dishes that we've tried work well with tofu.“
“absolute banger of a restaurant. if you're craving hearty, flavorful east asian cuisine and a homey down to earth atmosphere, this is your place.i grew up going to hole in the wall Chinese restaurants and this hit the spot. big portions, delicious, good vibes.“
“Here's my review. I'll break it into chunks where certain topics might matter to you (:Parking:- plenty of street parking, freeDining:- waiter was very nice and very attentive- was able to sit at a table quickly- food came out pretty fast- bathroom and inside the restaurant was clean- plenty of seating inside tooFood:- the spring rolls were sooooo delicious! (: the peanut dipping sauce was sweet but very flavorful. I think this is probably one of my favorites now for fresh spring rolls. The shrimp chicken combo was also very nice and flavorful.- chicken pad see ew: it's interesting to have bell peppers and squash in it, but I like having more veggies in my dishes (makes me feel a bit more healthier XD). The chicken isn't like rubbery or hard but shreds nicely when you bite into it. There's a light tint of a flavor like sesame oil. The dish wasn't super oily.Overall, I had a very pleasant dine in experience after my two hikes. This is also just a very cute town area to explore. I would recommend here as a new place to check out and a town to explore ?“
“This is by far the best Thai that we have in the neighborhood! I usually get pad Thai and red curry anytime I try a new place, and I’ve been disappointed with the two other places nearby—but not here! I asked for pad Thai Flamin hot with tofu and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The tofu was perfectly cubed and fried without being greasy, and the sauce a rich brown color with notes of peanut, tamarind, and lime (slightly sweet and tangy), and the spice was perfectly hot without being overpowering. Most other places give me mild/medium when I ask for Thai hot, and this place actually listened. The red curry was also memorable with bright flavors from the Thai basil and veggies. Poured over rice, it’s a heavenly combo perfect for a cold night. I am so grateful to have a new go-to Thai spot! I hope they stick around for a long time.“
“THE BEST! Lamphai (maybe I'm spelling her name wrong) is the sweetest lady. She has run this restaurant on her own for 28 years and makes excellent food. She was so friendly and showed me all the herbs that she uses for her dishes. She piled my lunch buffet plate high with beef, chicken curry, pork, wontons, and rice, and checked in to make sure it wasn't too spicy and that I'd had enough rice. Stop by Taste of Thailand for great food and support this long running, woman-owned business!“
“Wow! The food is amazing. Yes, it's a bit pricy, but quantities are generous, and the freshness can't be beat. We had the little shrimp dumplings, crab fried rice, green curry, and spring rolls. Spices were on point, we both loved the use of fresh herbs in the dishes. Highly recommend!“
“Wonderful authentic Thai food. The dark haired woman serving us was so awesome and attentive. She was handling all the tables in the restaurant during lunch and did a flawless job. Free parking in the back. We ordered the lunch pad Thai with wonton and the drunken noodles with eggs rolls. Both dishes were fantastic. Not let the old building scare you away from going here. Hidden gem we will be back!“
“First time trying out joy Thai and wow! Chicken egg rolls had the perfect crisp. My hubs got the pineapple fried rice which he said was the best fried rice he’s had and I got the massaman curry and the flavor was incredible. So so good! I already can’t wait to go back! ? ?“
“Found this little gem thanks to DoorDash. We now order from here at least twice a month. We like the pineapple tofu red curry, red curry, and pad Thai. Food is excellent. Our only complaint is that the quantity varies from time to time - for example, sometimes, the rice container is only just half full. Same with the curries also. We still return because the food is simply that good.“
“Restaurant was empty when we got there and packed within 30 minutes - all the tables were reserved. With it being such a small spot I definitely recommend making a reservation when possible. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, she was detailed and helpful in answering our questions and recommending drinks. We got a mix of sushi, thai, and ramen, all of which were equally delicious! You could really tell the food was freshly made and of great quality. I recommend trying the thai iced coffee as well if you are up for a cold, sweet, umami drink. A word of the wise for those of us a little less accustomed to asian spice (if you know what i mean...) - please don't lie to yourself about how much heat you can handle, the spicy ramen is SPICY. The “level 3” heat we ordered was a lot. Do yourself the favor and get a 1 if possible and ask for some of the hot sauce on the side so you can add it in to your liking. My friend was absolutely humbled. He was all but in tears. I have never seen his face so red. I think our waitress got a real kick out of this as well (she did try her best to warn us about The Spicy, so it was all in good fun) ? Overall, a great little spot. We'll be returning for sure!!“
“Our first time here... The food was great! All but 2 tables in the main section were full. Spicy selection from 0 to 5... we got a few 3's and a 2.Chicken Green Curry at 2 was great.Beef Red Curry ordered a 3 but seemed sweet and lighter in spice than the green Curry. The seafood salad 3 was goodAnd the chicken fried rice at 0 was tasty... with no spice at all.Egg rolls and Thai sausageThe price for 4 adults was $100 without tipParking: As it was put first time here we are not up on the parking... for us it was difficult.“
“This place ranks among the best Thai food I have had in the U.S. The chef commands a mix of spicy, sweet, umami, and acidic flavors in a way that only the bestchefs can.-To drink, I got the Thai iced green tea. The slightly more astringent green tea paired really well in this drink, which was not overly sweet as Thai iced teas can be.-We got the #33 shrimp salad, which was perfectly limey.-#43, the Yen Tha foe, was truly one of the best soups I've ever eaten. The depth of flavor in the broth, the silky-gushy noodles, and the marvelous textures combined for something I'd like to eat for my last meal.-Pad eggplant was silky and umami-laden.“
“Food is great. Lots of amazing Thai staples. Can be ordered to your grade of spice tolerance.Gotta take the Spring rolls with peanut sauce.Tom Yum soup is delicious (be careful if you can't handle the space levels it will get you).Service is great and friendly. This is definitely one of everyone's favorites for takeout.Decor... Oh who cares , you're there for the food anyway!“
“Server was a bit strange. The food completely made up for her. When you walk in the door, there is no fish smell.Very important! The food temperature was perfect.Texture, flavor, all spot on!We drove 25 minutes to get here, and will absolutely be back.“
“Met my friend for lunch there. A most exceptional experience in service, food and atmosphere! We have the most awesome server, Betty. She is a an amazing people person and very knowledgeable and professional in her manner and presence. Very lovely personality. The food was just as great as the service. Highly recommend!!“
“I am thankful for this new place in the neighborhood. Ordered pad Thai and red curry and both were absolutely delicious! The seasoning and spice levels were perfect. The quantity was great. We only did pick up and not dine in, but the food was freshly made and piping hot even after we took it home. Two thumbs up!“
“This is the only restaurant besides phams that’s still open from when I worked at mama Ds kitchen. I always loved the fried rice especially shrimp the shrimp are big and they give you your money worth! The boba is amazing thick juicy sweet! I just love sabbai Chinese! Please don’t ever shut down!“
“Ordered take out and it was wonderful. Fresh and flavorful. Chicken, veggies, sauce and apps were well blended. Appreciated the plastic to go containers vs the old style Chinese takeout boxes, as you can eat out of them. Quick in and out.“
