the best Thai Restaurant in the twin cities.. the waitress is wonderful and adorable! Deana is the best! highly recommended .. Mark A casting associate for NBC s America's Got Talent
The veggie basil fried rice was delicious and the veggie spring rolls & peanut sauce were really good. the tofu pad thai was ok it seemed they used more of a sweet&sour sauce more than traditional peanut sauce i expected, but i suppose I could ask to substitute next time. They accidentally sent me home with veggie noodle dish instead of veggie rice but when I called the next day (since it had already closed when I realized after I got home) they made one promptly 5-10 mins with...read full review

Based on six reviews, (Richfield) Joy's Pattaya Thai Restaurant offers excellent service and very good Thai food, though many note it is not the same as the original Joy’s. The new ownership has updated the space beautifully and it is immaculately clean. The Kao Soi is described as to die for, and the crab rolls are the cherry on top. The food is good, with specific meals like Tom Yum goong (shrimp), green curry w chicken, pad see ew w/beef, egg rolls, curry puffs, scallion puff, sweet and sour, red curry, and papaya salad all mentioned. The papaya salad was delicious with fresh product. However, some dishes are smaller than average, and the menu is rigid with no half orders allowed, which is difficult for a single diner. Tea was served cold for one customer. The staff are friendly, attentive, and well-intentioned. The seating area is a bit disjointed. A fair warning on the menu is that medium hot is spicy, so stick with mild and add more chilli if needed. This is a hidden gem with a great menu and fabulous food, though the new high cost is a concern.
