“We arrived at Patrick's and were promptly seated. Our waiter, Dan went over the menu and the beverage list. He suggested the Pinot Noir and he offered us a taste. We wound up splitting a bottle which was delightful. My guest asked what he would recommend for an entrée and he said that the beef short ribs would be amazing. I asked about the rack of lamb and he said it was quite good even though it took the longest to prepare. Both dishes were amazing. When we finished eating we still had a good portion of our meal left. Dan brought us containers to take them home. He also asked about dessert but we were taking food home, we declined. Patrick's continues to be amazing whether at lunchtime or in the evening.“

“Coolest atmosphere. Consistently delicious food (delivery, takeout or in-house!). Excellent staff. We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. “This place is not inexpensive; but the food is worth every single penny. It’s unique, it’s vegan, it’s delicious, and it’s healthy. The atmosphere is very comfortable. (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. Every taste was Yum Yum Yum Yum.). a lot of times when I go out to eat I think; I could’ve saved money and just ate at home. However, I truly felt my money was well spent! The food was fresh. Very tasty. The arugula salad was phenomenal, even though it was very simple. I need to come back here way more often. Thank you very much for your dedication to healthy, tasty, vegan food. “My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!“

“When I moved to the area from the country, I immediately started looking for plant based restaurants to go to in Minneapolis. I had wanted to go to trio, but they were moving locations at the time. This past trip to Minneapolis, I realized they were open again and was finally able to go. I can’t even describe how amazing my experience was! The menu had so many options and was so unique. I love to tell animal eaters that I like to eat dirty vegan food and not just vegetables, and that is definitely what it was! My partner and I ate so much so fast that I couldn’t even process my experience before it was over. I have never had such amazing plant based food. Even better than the food was the people working there. I have been to multiple plant based restaurants but I have never been able to truly feel the passion that the workers have like at trio. We were helped by a guy named Boston who was super personable and kind. We talked to him about the difference between the terms vegan and plant-based, and I could tell that the business genuinely cares about the impact they have on the community and the world. I wish that I could post pictures of my food, but I was too excited to eat it and forgot to take them like I usually do. I look forward to going, and hopefully seeing Boston again, and I would make the hour and a half trip just to do so. I highly recommend, especially since I was informed that it is the first black owned plant-based restaurant in Minneapolis. Thank you so much Trio!!!!“

We got the coconut curry chicken and shrimp, curry lamb, curry goat, and garlic naan, all I would highly recommend. The bathrooms are spacious with a changing table and outside the bathroom in the basement in a box is a prayer rug, both of which are inclusive and caring touches for a small family restaurant. “It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“Loved this spot! It's good for light lunches and dinners. They food was very good, I had the special, which was super yummy! They can accommodate kids and people with disabilities, there is a wheelchair accessible restroom. Their patio is very decent sized. I think the indoor space isn't as large, so something to consider when it isn't nice out. They have beer, wine and cocktails.“
