“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

The service was fast but the weird part of that they gave some small glasses with lukewarm water to drink. we had to ask for water over and over. finally, the hostess brought us a carafe with cold ice water. the pizza was a good as ever!“

“I was looking for breakfast at The Viking Fest. No luck. Saw your food truck and decided to try your pizza. I got the white sauce, spinach, garlic, red onion and tandeer? (vegetarian "meat) was it called? It was suggested by employee...I was not going to get any meat option. My son got an all meat choice. We both absolutely loved them!! They were delicious!!! And definitely filling!! Honestly, I probably should not have eaten whole thing lol.Thanks for doing it right!!!“

“We arrived at Patrick's and were promptly seated. Our waiter, Dan went over the menu and the beverage list. He suggested the Pinot Noir and he offered us a taste. We wound up splitting a bottle which was delightful. My guest asked what he would recommend for an entrée and he said that the beef short ribs would be amazing. I asked about the rack of lamb and he said it was quite good even though it took the longest to prepare. Both dishes were amazing. When we finished eating we still had a good portion of our meal left. Dan brought us containers to take them home. He also asked about dessert but we were taking food home, we declined. Patrick's continues to be amazing whether at lunchtime or in the evening.“

“Coolest atmosphere. Consistently delicious food (delivery, takeout or in-house!). Excellent staff. We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. “We love Smith! It is our favorite spot for pizza. Pizza night is the best, especially if you have little kids. If we remember, we reserve ahead and get a table. Otherwise we bring our picnic blanket. Our kids are all under 5 and we love letting them play in the garden. The pizza is amazing and so are the salads. I appreciate a menu that offers a few things and does them really well. This is pretty much the only restaurant I can bring my kids to and have a nice relaxing time myself. I have been earlier in the day for coffee/lunch and it is nice as well.“

“Part of my job is to coordinate catering for training sessions, C-suite meetings, Board meetings and as soon as I found Cafe Fusion, it became my GO-TO for any and all catered needs. I've ordered everything from chopped salads, wraps, and pizzas to the taco bar (OMG) and pasta bar (OMMMMGGGG) and the hoagies. Everything is always fresh, delicious, portioned perfectly and presented so nicely. The staff is friendly, ON TIME, and extremely helpful. I can't say enough about this place! Highly recommend carrot cake for department served with any signal ice cream and caramel sauce. As good as the restaurant was, it was the tea experience with dessert with blew my mind. Exquisite Tea Forte teas (highly recommend the ginger lemongrass with the carrot cake). Served with a mini jar of honey and the most amazing tea timer.
