When you grow up on the east coast you are spoiled with amazing bagels among other food. I have lived in Minneapolis since the 90's and while Bruegger's original bagel recipe was okay, they changed it around 2005 and I now consider their bagels to be mediocre at best. The other local bagel options including Einstein Bagels are complete garbage. Einstein, in fact, now owns Bruegger's for the record. Now to St Paul Bagelry. Their bagels are consistently amazing. Wasn't hungry enough for a full on brunch so stopped in for a light breakfast around 10 and it was pretty busy. Atomoshphere is cozy and what one would expect for bagel shop. To order you stand in line and can grab a table and they call your name when your order is ready. The breakfast bagel sandwich was toasted to perfection the egg was fried but came out over medium. My friend got a latte and it came out extremely hot and lacking in flavor 2/4. I would rate this full review

Cute little bagel shop. I got the "Isaac Hayes" on a salt bagel. It was prepared fresh and came out nice and hot. Latte was delicious as well. Seemed to have a wide variety of sandwiches and bagel offerings. No issue with street parking. Friendly service. I'll definitely be back to try other delicious combos. Good space with ample seating options. Located right between the Holiday gas station and fire house.
