“We only ordered the 10 piece wings and fries with mild sauce and they were delicious! The closest to the taste of Chicago wings in the Minneapolis area we’ve tried. Crispy and fried to perfection. I only ranked 3 stars for atmosphere due to the storefront looking boarded up and having the large sign of the old business. We drove past it a couple times until we noticed the tiny sign in the window of the new restaurant. 4 stars for service because the listed phone number on google is out of service. There is no way to preorder and the wait is usually 20 minutes or more. With the parking being difficult to manage, you would think they would welcome pickup orders. The lady who takes the orders inside is always polite, patient and friendly.“

Ordered a large pizza last weekend in order to utilize my free wings offer. Pizza is a little spendy ($28.50 for Savoy's Special) but figured it was worth it for the awesome free wings that would go along with good pizza. Gave a $10 tip. Five days later I saw a $47.54 charge on my bank transactions. Called to see if they processed it correctly and was then told about a $5 delivery fee, a $1.90 credit card fee and then tax. Had I known this I would have not ordered delivery and/or given a smaller tip (delivery fee goes to the driver). Also, would have paid cash. If we order again we will pick it up but rather disappointed with this incident. :(“

“Not going to lie, the outside appearance had me a little skeptical but the food was DELICIOUS!! I got the chicken tenders, fries & a biscuit & some friends got the fried chicken, we both tried the krunchy sauce which was also so so good!! The food came out super fast, the woman behind the counter/man cooking our food/man running the next door smoke shop were so pleasant & helpful as we were just traveling through town! Definitely one of those don’t judge a book by its cover situations but ended up being fantastic!!“

“I loved my dinner! I got the tteokbokki with bulgogi special. The sauce was absolutely killer! Lots of good umami flavor. It was the star of the dish and a grwat first taste of tteokbokki. I thought that I'd never get to try it, as most times the sauce is spicy, but this version was savory. The beef was fine, nothing too special, but clearly it was needed to make the sauce so good. The cheese melted on top was also great! My server was attentive and refilled my water frequently. I'll need to come back and try some of the other dishes!“

“I have been there 5 times and left 4 of the 5 because of the lines. With that being said, last week I stayed and waited almost 2 hours between ordering and getting my food. I try to support all black owners business however you all have been opened for a few weeks now, you see what kind of lines you have and yet you still only have 1 cashier and 1 person on personal phone calls and passing out food. While I waited in that line for over an hour just to order, after I ordered a friend of the girl who does nothing but talk on the phone and pass out food came in and she allowed him to bypass everyone else who was waiting and gasp she actually rang him up. This is horrible. I will not be back but I do wish you much success“

“I don’t think I’ve been quite disappointed this much to be honest. Everything was too salty, the gizzards were so tough I had to throw it away…. Perch was salty, coleslaw was alright. It is too bad I had this experience because I was really hoping for a good fish place to come once a week“

“I don’t usually write reviews, but Papa John’s at University Ave absolutely deserves one. Every time I order, the pizza arrives hot, fresh, and exactly how I asked for it. The crust is always perfect—crispy outside, soft inside—and the toppings actually taste like real ingredients (looking at you, cardboard pizza chains). Delivery is fast, staff are polite, and they’ve never once messed up an order. Bonus points for the garlic sauce. Seriously. That stuff could solve wars.

“I don’t know what kind of manager it takes to get a Pizza Hut this incredible, but they must be one of a kind! Personally, I usually prefer Dominos when it comes to pizza, but after experiencing this special hut, things haven’t been the same since. The atmosphere was unlike any other pizza establishment I have ever been too. It was relaxing, comfortable, just an overall joy to be at. The food was phenomenal and the service, phew, let me tell you, that service was top of the line. TOP of the line.“

have moved a lot too so we’ve had many home base neighborhood locations that we’ve also been stuck with. We’ve had the Shady Oak Rd and the Greenbrier locations as our home bases when we lived in Hopkins and in Minnetonka. Now we live in Golden Valley and when we order from here I have less anxiety of how their pies come out because they always seem to turn out right for our RFID kiddo and we are so thankful.
