“Great seafood boil!!! I’ve been to a couple in the city and I think this might be the best one yet. The seafood is fresh, the sauce is well seasoned and I thought the price was pretty good for the variety of seafood you get. Just a heads up; there are 3 levels of spicy, we got the 1st level and it was pretty spicy so maybe get something less spicy if you do not have a good spice tolerance.
Butter was an awesome server! Helped us choose the best options for us.“

“This place blew my expectations out of the water. How is this seafood joint in the middle of the country serving top class seafood with flavors that keep your mouth watering for more.
The atmospher was great with outside and I side seating.
The lobster bisque hit on every taste bud and now is my favorite in my travels.
You need to go and I would rate this one of the top 3 restaurants within the city!“
“Costal Seafoods is my go-to fresh seafood market. I love coming for mussels, and sushi grade fish. They have all the best condiments and ingredient pairings with the fish as well, so you can come and one stop shop. Great selection of tinned fish, sauces, and some unusual seafood items like squid ink (frozen). Everyone who works here is kind, knowledgeable, and fun.“

“The meals are consistently fantastic. I’ve never had a bad meal at this restaurant over the last few years. The ingredients are high quality, fresh, and well prepared. The dishes come out delicious every time. It makes dining incredibly easy when I know I can choose anything on the menu and it will be great. The service is also incredible. Knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly staff. The dining and bar areas are equally beautiful in distinctive ways. Very pleasing to the eye. Zelo is a must try downtown, and if you do, it will become one of your go to restaurants for a nice night out.“

“Everything is good the wings and fried rice is the best the fish is crispy and fresh the fries are just the way I like them they are the best and the price is right it won't break the bank loe love it been going to seafood to go for as long as I been in MN and that's for 30 years they only gets better“
“We stopped here on December 24th looking for fresh lutefisk and were pleased to find we could buy a 5lb filet. The lutefisk was amazing I was told and in the future we will be sure to call ahead and place the order. The manager was running back and forth with several options before we decided to just buy the 5lb filet. I can say I was amazed, they cooked it in the oven and when I returned that evening I could hardly smell anything other than the usual air fresheners we have in the house.
So thanks again for helping keep a Christmas tradition alive and hope the girls hockey team does great.“

“Great experience tonight! It was my first time visiting. Robert was SO great! I’ve been wanting to come here for a while. Robert took great care of us. Food and drink suggestions were perfect and he answered any and all questions we had. Very attentive. The manager also stopped by and greeted us. Food was fresh and delicious! I cannot say enough amazing things about this place 🥰“

“Someone at The Capital Grille must have read Will Guidara’s Unreasonable Hospitality, because this experience was such a perfect example of what it means to make people feel genuinely special.
In casual conversation, we mentioned that we were headed to a show at the Orpheum that evening and that we had gotten married three weeks earlier. That was it. We weren’t there celebrating our wedding or expecting any special recognition.
But they listened.
Before we knew it, little confetti hearts appeared on our table, and later they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, beautifully arranged on a tray to acknowledge our recent marriage.
They were small gestures, but that’s exactly what made them so meaningful. They noticed something personal, remembered it, and found a way to turn an ordinary dinner before a show into an experience that felt uniquely ours.
The food was fantastic, but what we’ll remember most is how they made us feel. Thoughtful, unexpected, personal hospitality like this is rare, and The Capital Grille absolutely nailed it.“
“Was truly a great experience. I got the herb seared salmon, and it was incredible. I can be a not finicky when it comes to any seafood. I could not think of a complaint even if I tried. The cheesecake was also sooo good.
I am not local to the area, but would recommend this to anyone asking.“
“The cashier was really friendly. I asked about the juices and which would be the sweetest and he let me try it first. Ended up loving it. The food was amazing ! Hot honey chicken quesadillas with the best French fries 🍟 ever. Also came with ketchup, sour cream, and a spicy avocado salsa. Hot and fresh and will definitely go back.“

“We stumbled upon "Barwaqo" as it's now called when we were headed to the Electric Fetus for a book signing event; apparently this place changed hands about a month ago (Oct 2023) so previous reviews under the old Cala name are not relevant. We felt very welcomed by the owner and staff, and had an amazing dinner of Somali chicken and rice, sambusa, and the spinach dish which game with roasted goat and a fava bean soup with glutinous rice cakes. Everything was fresh and delicious and obviously made with a lot of care, and all of the food we got only came to about $45. We were thrilled to have randomly taken a chance on an unknown place and we will go back in the future. When we talked to the owner outside afterwards, I asked one of the staff what "barwaqo" means in Somali and he said "gift" but when I looked it up, it means "prosperity." Take a chance on this place at the corner of Clinton/Franklin instead of the Wendy's across the street!“

“My husband had gotten off work and it was almost closing. I hate doing that but I was starving. We got food that was awesome and the gentleman taking our order was very awesome and helpful and the place was very clean and very comfortable! Best wings and cat fish I've had for a long time! “Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing vibes. My family went here to celebrate the anniversary of my Tita's passing. Roast duck, sea food pan fried noodles, slow fish, oyster and roast pork hot pot, sea food and tofu soup, and Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce. Everything was delicious! 10/10 highly recommend“
