“This is our favorite place to go for birthdays, lunch dates with the hubby, or for any occasion with friends. The servers are very friendly, attentive, and efficient. Favorite appetizers include satay beef or chicken, Penang lobak, and Pandan ayam wings. Favorites among their specials include green curry shrimp, crispy onion braised duck, and Queen's tofu. We also love the sizzling beef or pork, red curry beef brisket hot pot, pad thai, char kway teow (flat rice noodles), Young chow fried rice, pineapple seafood fried rice, walnut jumbo shrimp, and Hainanese chicken. We also order the fruit smoothies with tapioca. This place is certainly a gem. We now even go to this place more often when we pick up our son from the University of MN on weekends.“
“I had the gumbo, and it was good. I used live down south and know gumbo. While perhaps not strictly n'awlins legit, let's call it a good Minnesota approximation. The place is a true melange of flavors with BBQ and other flavors on the menu. The gumbo was good enough I'll be back to try some of their other offerings.“
“Brother, let me tell you that THIS is how to do Karaoke right here. Spicy rice cakes, bulgogi, and a private room to absolutely belt out some songs with great friends. You gotta come here and try it out if you have not yet. Don’t settle for dive bar karaoke !“
“Wife and I had the chance to dine here, in the malcolm yards, today. I'll be willing to go on a limb, and say their fried chicken Sammy, is better than revivals. The char sui, jasmine rice ( just trust me on this) and the kimchi slaw were all on point. However, the most pleasant surprise I had, was how well the sliced chili's and fried leeks went with the french fries. definitely will be returning soon to give the cauliflower, and sesame fried chicken a whirl.“
“While I haven't been to this place since I moved states, but whenever I come back to Minnesota. I make sure to stop by this Pho restaurant for a quick bite and good memories. (So yeah, a tiny bit bias)Generally speaking I don't recommended going to early or late. Mainly because the pho soup is very volatile during those times. Either really good or water.Either way I would definitely recommended the fried quail and Nem Nuong Cuon. Those two dishes really sparked my hunger for Vietnamese cuisine.Good:Affordable(based on my 2019 memories)Tasty (depending)Bad:Can be dirty in some places.Quality is 70/30. (Good/Bad)Drinks- I think making fresh thai tea or having less bottled stuff in the store would be much better. I usually head to bad waitress after to get a mocha.Overall 8.4/10 (+0.2 for nostalgia)“
“Wonderful quality at a great price! We called in an order closer to closing and the owner was kind enough to fulfill our request! You get great portions for a very affordable price, they have standard Asian American staple dishes as well as some creative options as well! We got beef chow fun (very tasty) chicken chow mien (chunky and NOT mush) and curry crab puffs (SO GOOD). A great find, I will definitely be a new regular!“
