The food is so good!! I’m vegetarian so there are a lot of options for me. They know how to make the best tofu! I give 💯% of my support Peninsula Malaysian Restaurant! ♥️
One of my absolute favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. They do amazing things with tofu…but pretty much anything you order is absolutely delicious!
Such unique tastes. Makes me proud to live in this city and happy to come home when I can’t get Malaysian food when I travel!
This is our favorite place to go for birthdays, lunch dates with the hubby, or for any occasion with friends. The servers are very friendly, attentive, and efficient.
Favorite appetizers include satay beef or chicken, Penang lobak, and Pandan ayam wings. Favorites among their specials include green curry shrimp, crispy onion braised duck, and Queen's tofu. Peninsula Malaysian Cuisine is a reliable takeout and delivery spot, known for serving fresh and hot food extremely fast. Some favorites include queen's tofu, Buddhist yam pot, sizzling beef, and coconut butter batter entrees. The restaurant offers popular dishes like Roti Canai, Roti Telur, Satay chicken, and beef brisket curry noodle soup. Recent reviews highlight the authenticity of the Roti Canai and Chicken Satay, with one customer recalling flavors that transport them back to Kuala Lumpur. The beef curry and Indian mee goreng are also praised as wonderful options. While some found the popiah less appealing, the flavors of the food are highly praised. The service remains impeccable, and the restaurant is accommodating of dietary restrictions. Although dine-in was not available during a recent visit, it continues to be a favored choice for takeout, with many returning for their favorite dishes like chili chicken, vegetable fried rice, and mee siam noodles.
