Great food! I am carnivore and this was a cheat day. Great food and it did not throw me off, meaning great ingredients. Normally any kind of pasta brings on inflammation for me. The spaetzle did not grace me with any inflammation. Next cheat day I will be back to try another menu item!
Black Forest Inn is the place to go in Minneapolis for schnitzel, stroganoff, and spaetzal. They have a very relaxed atmosphere that creates a chill date location.Uniquely, they also offer Christmas cookies and a whole Christmas goose, for anyone who would be interested.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner tonight. My husband's family is German, and he grew up eating German food. When we decided to visit Minneapolis for our anniversary we were excited to find that there's a German restaurant. The food tasted like home, good selection of German beer, and excellent customer service. We will be back next time we come to Minneapolis!
