“The staff are incredible and the food is outstanding I've never had anything like it, not to mention the bar is so gorgeous I could look at it forever. My husband and I have been here three times and we will be back again, soon I hope! This is the perfect spot wether you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or just want to try incredible food some place new! I will be back soon with my mom just because I think it's so magical everyone must experience it. Bûcheron is a must!“

“My friend and I showed up at around 10:40 PM. We love that they're open until midnight- perfect for a snack and a drink or two after a movie, say. Their Thai coffee is less cloyingly sweet than most, and their pommes frites are all business. The slice of carrot cake is colossal, and also more subtle than most. The warm woodwork and Tiffany lamps make for amazing ambience, whether you're shmoozing a date or debating a movie with friends. An old favorite!“

“Absolutely loved this place! I tried their Turkish cardamom milk coffee along with the Lingonberry Almond Torte, and both were honestly amazing. The coffee had such a rich, smooth flavor with the perfect touch of cardamom — warm, comforting, and unique compared to regular coffee spots. You can really taste the quality and care in every sip.

The Lingonberry Almond Torte was just as impressive. The balance between the sweet almond flavor and the slight tartness from the lingonberry was perfect, and the dessert itself was fresh, soft, and beautifully presented. It paired incredibly well with the coffee.

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with a warm vibe that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy your time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt thoughtful from start to finish. Definitely a great spot for coffee and dessert lovers. I’ll absolutely be coming back again! ☕🍰✨“

The owner (Nico) and both chefs were absolutely so kind and helpful - we’re visiting for the weekend and not only did they give wonderful service but had the best conversations about where to visit and eat. The wine and charcuterie board were both spectacular! And the atmosphere was perfect exactly what we were looking for, very intimate but lively. If we ever visit again we will absolutely be back!!!“

“I was staying at the Intercontinental MSP and ate breakfast at La Voya Brasserie each morning. The menu contained standard breakfast fare. The serving sizes were generous and everything was prepared very well. I especially liked the hash browns, big biscuits, and the smoky thick bacon. One day I replaced the hash browns with fresh fruit and was surprised to get a big bowl of blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The decor was interesting especially the picture with the two girls and the dog. I think many will agree that it could be a little disturbing.

It is not inexpensive but worth it.“

“Went there for breakfast. Unfortunately the bar was open during my stay but breakfast was served there. Typical grab and go stuff but the hot breakfast item they did have was amazing and really good value. I was stuffed after eating that breakfast“

“This is a place you’ll get hooked on. From the Waygu burger, Salmon Sandwich to their baked goods. I bought a brioche loaf and made the most amazing French toast from it. Very worth a visit for breakfast and lunch!“

“PRICE GOUGE during the Microsoft failure. We were stranded in MN when our flights were cancelled. I booked 3 rooms for 4 adult using the Marriott Bonvoy app. When we arrived with no flight, no luggage, and other reservations Neliu (at the front desk) stated he couldn't locate the reservation in his system. He went on to say that rate of $170 wasn't available that weekend. I showed him the email confirmation, and the confirmation in the app. His focus was on charging us $420 per room per night. We left and ended up in a Microtel for $500 for 2 nights after waiting until 2am for a no show so we could get those rooms instead. The next day there was a reservation cancelation. How can there be a cancelation when there was no reservation. I have since read multiple reviews from this hotel where ppl are being denied entry for one reason or another. Neliu claimed not to be able to find a reservation when I had documenting of it solely so he could price gouge for over double the price THAT IS ON THE MARRIOTT BONVOY app. I also saw that the Residence Inn had the same rate of $170 on the app. I have called back to Rand and spoke to Jeannie who said she would contact the GM, Apple Noble, and I haven't heard from anyone on this matter. It's been 3 days.“

“I have been going to Umbra since August 2019 and fell in love with the whole place from day 1. Even though I live 4 hours away I make this a regular trip because the food is amazing but the staff make the whole experience everything you could want and everything you didn’t even know you needed! When I saw that Kay Kay was doing a Paint-n-Sip event at Umbra I smashed that registration button so fast and brought my mom and cousin along for the adventure. I’m not an artist and have always been intimidated by a paint brush so I appreciate others who make art but generally tend to shy away from actually creating art myself. Kay Kay made it such a fun and positive experience where anyone was welcome, encouraged, and celebrated regardless of their skill level. I met some new friends (which is pretty typical for me anytime I visit umbra haha), and am looking forward to the next event Kay Kay hosts! We all had an amazing time!“
