They're a very small operation but are incredibly busy and trying to keep up They've got a small space to work and and can barely squeeze by each other when cooking so that combined with the number of orders is reasonable justification for longer wait times. I'd suggest ordering 30 min to 1hr before picking up to save some wait time during peak hours.With that out of the way, their food is so good and worth the wait! Portion sizes were plenty to be full too! The team is kind and watching them work I could tell they were clearly do the best they could! I would love to see them expand later! There is a small dine in area, but if it's peak meal times it can be a long wait, but it's understandable.Thank you to all the employees there! “I literally work next door to Cafe Latte! Yesterday, I brought a gift card in to use that my Fiance bought me for Christmas. It didn’t work, several people attempted to make it work, to find it wasn’t loaded right. The manager asked me, “how much was on here.” So I replied. She loaded the amount I said, no questions, didn’t ask for a bank transaction. Just rang it up. Customer service at its best! Never a bad experience!“
“I ordered my food on DoorDash and when I arrived to pick it up there was a woman helping what looked to be a man with obvious mental issues. She was getting him a coffee. She was so kind and patient with him and the amount of care with him was amazing. When done he left and she apologized for my wait and said sometimes you just deserve a lil treat. She looked like she was ready to cry. She was such a seeet woman!!“
“Prices were raised a lot recently and that is definitely unfortunate, It's still good ol Snuffy's or if you're newer to it "The original malt shop". The atmosphere is nice, you won't get faster food at a restaurant than almost any other, it's almost magical. The speed and service have improved significantly over time but as I said so have the prices. It's still more affordable than most other places but I'm going to miss the $8 meals. Food is better than average but it won't exactly have you coming back for it. The malts are very delicious and as the name suggests is what they're best at. Take this as a light 5 star review. It's just good enough to make it to 5“
“Okay breakfast menu, took a long time to get coffee and to-go bakery items, breakfast food came quickly for how busy it was, which was surprising for a Thursday, it's loud just because of building materials, don't take elderly relatives or people who are hard of hearing, parking lot was also very full.“
“I was very pleased that even though our reservation was 12:30, the sound level was quite reasonable and we didn't have to raise our voices to hear each other. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and we enjoyed our sandwishes very much. I did bring a new friend who feels the same as I do, so she might become a new customer. I do enjoy Mill Valley Kitchen. It is a hike for me; I live on the Mississippi River, but worth the trip.“
“Went in for my first time today, and the people working there were so nice despite me coming in 20 minutes until close. The man working there gave me such generous amounts of food for a great price, given that the food is vegan and freshly made. The cauliflower wings are amazing, and the fries and burger were even better! I am definitely returning to support this underrated black-owned business ☺️“
