“This is such a cute cafe with amazing food! Counter service with self serve water. The staff was very friendly and speedy with my food. I highly recommend the pork. It was soo tender it just fell apart. The seasoning was subtle with just the right amount of saltiness. The rice and beans were bland but were a good carb to soak up the juiciness of the pork. The sweet plantains were perfect in every way. They had beautifully crunchy bottoms from being fried. The arepa con queso was good. There is a sweetness with the butter and maybe in the corn masa itself. Its very dense and rich, i would recommend splitting with a friend if possible.“
“Upon recommendation from our friend, my boyfriend and I decided to pick Uptown Lobby as our Saturday date. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I will certainly be back for the Scotch Eggs, the aroma of chorizo, the texture of the yolk and the overall presentation left a lasting impression. My boyfriend got the 12 ounce garlic seared beef sirloin and was so kind to let me try it. Also presented pleasingly, and with one bite I could taste the herbs and bone marrow. It was incredible! I had the Bikini Sandwich. The crisp bread with the delicious ham and of course my favorite part, the manchego cheese all over the sandwich was exquisite. Lastly the chef was so kind to give us their Carmel Apple Empanadas. Delicious! Cannot wait to go back and try more!“
“AMAZING SERVICE, WONDERFUL atmosphere, well priced, FANTASTIC FLAVORS, serving portions as expected for tapas. Two of us ordered about 8 dishes and shared gor dinner, we were stuffed - could have had only 6 but wanted to try so many bcuz they were so tempting by descriptions, and they met all expectations!! They accommodated our dietary restrictions without hassle. If we lived here, we'd be regulars!!“
