Literally my favorite sandwich place. I do not get excited about sandwiches EXCEPT for Little Bird. I dream about their chicken sandwich.
sandwiches 10/10 + farro salad 10/10. all sooo good! such a cute spot in the city. salty was a big fan of the dutch crunch bread. will be back for gelato stat :)🍨
Best bread in the TC. Happy to pay a little extra for an outstanding sandwich. Love you so much, Little Bird.

Based on the reviews, Little Bird Delicatessen & Gelateria is a tiny but tasty sandwich shop on a good food corner in South Minneapolis. The menu slowly rotates and mainly has sandwiches, including the Finn (vegetarian), the Arlo (hot), and the Roman. They also have a couple of salads and pasta salads that are super yummy. The sandwiches come on Dutch crunch bread and are incredibly good, very filling, and well priced for how sizable they are. They also have gluten free bread. The shop is a cute spot with a quaint storefront that has only a couple of bar seats and a few tables for outside seating, so best to take out. Service is very fast and the staff is extremely friendly. While on the spendier side and not cheap, the sandwiches are some of the BEST hot sandwiches and cold cut sandwiches in Minneapolis. They also have a great selection of local beverages and gelato made in house.
