“The food was so excellent! I got the cassava leaf and the fufu. It was so delicious. The portions were huge and the flavor was incredible. Fatu was such a friendly and kind server who went above and beyond! The restaurant was beautiful as well. I recommended it already to many friends! A friend did say they called once to order and the phone number didn't work? I'm unsure if that is still an issue. When I went I ordered to go at the restaurant and it was very quick.“
“My Nigerian wife moved with me from Texas to Wisconsin, she has had a craving for her Nigerian food for years now. She enjoyed the food alot. Myself I love spicy food so I enjoyed it alot as well. The thing I hate about alot of reviews is that so many people are just so angry, ungrateful, and entitled. That when they have good food they still complain. This food was excellent. If the owners ever feel underappreciated move to Wisconsin I'm sure you'd get a lot of business. ?“
“I give it 4 stars because it is not really a restaurant itself, but rather a store and take away, although they also put a table there if you ask for it and they have a small bar. Very friendly. Typical, exquisite foods for very affordable prices. We loved it!“
“I was driving by and did a double take when I saw their sign. I decided to stop in to see what they offered because Nigerian restaurant menus tend to vary. It’s a small carryout only spot. The woman working there was very nice and accommodating. I informed her that I’m vegan and inquired about a few of my favorite Nigerian foods: egusi, greens, jollof, and beans. She didn’t have egusi. She stated that she had greens but they’re made with fish. She then offered to make me a fresh batch sans the fish if I had time to wait. I most certainly do! It wasn’t a long wait either. I got a hefty container of food for about $15. There was enough food for 2 days (if I wasn’t being greedy).I tried my food right away. The greens were very good and clearly freshly made with quality produce. The beans were good. The jollof rice was SLAMMIN!! Perfection in the flavor department!I’m unsure how long they’ve been open, but they seem fairly new. They’re located in a strip mall with other small, locally owned businesses. Again, it’s carryout only; you cannot sit in and eat. (I ate in my car.) They also offer catering services.Be sure to check out this spot if you’re in the MSP area.Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options“

“GREAT experience, and such good food! Everyone there was so kind -- both the employees and the patrons -- and we felt welcome and appreciated. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the beans and plantains, if you like spicy food; otherwise, the jollof rice with beef was very tasty! Definitely stop in if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: The beans and plantains were a fantastic vegetarian choice!Kid-friendliness: There was a little girl sort of wandering around the small dining room and no one thought twice about saying hello or waving to her.Parking: Easy, very close parking was accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get in. I didn't see a wheelchair power door button, but the door was wide enough and the threshold was minimal. Inside the dining room, it wasn't so crowded that a wheelchair couldn't get around.“
“There are some restaurants that you get tired of, but I've been getting food here since they 1st opened. The food and service is always on point. Best African food spot in the region. I'm glad to be a customer of Mama T's. Thank you for what you do.“
“I've been working with Marlene & Fredrick for over a few months now to secure them as the caterer for a UMN event which just happened last night! Marlene is both kind & patient. To say that the food was a success would be a huge understatement! The food was AMAZING! The food was delivered very hot & on time! Thank you again, Marlene! I highly recommend them!“
