“Such a fun experience! A group of us went after the MN Orchestra show. The hosts led us to a few different tables because they weren’t sure which tables were occupied or not. Service was slow but they were busy. The food was delicious! Absolutely tender rib eye steak and the Shepard pie was delightful. Would definitely go back!“

“We had no plans on going here but I'm sure glad we did! We were walking around looking to grab a quick dinner before a concert and stumbled upon The Freehouse. I noticed first that the outside ambiance was quite dreamy. It was a gorgeous night so we sat outside. Our waitress was kind and quirky, loved her! I got the half rotisserie chicken (accidently gave me a whole chicken, but allowed me to pay for just the half I actually ordered) with mashed potatoes, corn, and slaw. First off I was very worried with the size of the chicken and if it would be done enough but it was cooked to perfection. Juicy, moist, flavorful and SEASONED! Delicious!! It also came with a sauce that was olive green in color. Initially I was worrird but surprisingly it tasted like a yummy warm good Ole gravy! I could drink it! The potatoes were also a hit, soooo good and buttery. The slaw and the corn weren't amazing but not bad either. My company got the chicken lime salad. Said it was GOOD but may not get it again. Overall the experience was 10/10. I haven't stopped thinking about the chicken, potatoes and gravy since! Can't wait to go again!“

“Friendly community gathering spot. Pub sings, jam sessions, and gatherings of morris dancers are why I end up here, that they are at Merlins because Merlins has always been enormously welcoming. It's our community home.“

“The meal I had was absolutely amazing!
If you're looking for really good Onion Rings, stop here. They are sooooo good.
The burgers are also really tasty.
The price is as if you're in rural Minnesota or rural Wisconsin.“

“Getting There: Take the Green Line and get off at West Bank, then walk up the Cedar Ave steps and turn right. A quick block-ish and here you are.
Food: Wow. Imagine a gourmet Big Mac. That’s the flavor of the Juicy Lucy at Town Hall Brewery. Amazing. I enjoyed every. single. bite. (Sort of regretting splitting it with my husband). I could have selfish devoured that in an instant. We sat at the bar and the service was stellar. Kind, helpful, and patient as we figured out our beer flights scouring Untappd (as the obvious out of towners we are). Also try the short Rib Poutine. The gravy is made from their Oatmeal Stout beer. Love that.
Atmosphere: Really cool old bar atmosphere with rich dark woods and a lovely display of bourbons. Sit and eat at the bar and get flights of beer!
Favorite beers: Czar Jack Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, Boreal Hills IPA, and Red Beverly Spiced Belgian-Style Red Ale.“

“I have been to Town Hall Lanes several times. It’s very consistently a great spot to get food, drinks, and bowl. The pizzas are great, Last time we got the pickle pizza, which was very good. The make good drinks, and have a good selection of wine. Service is great and they are very attentive.“

“There was a woman working last night, she helped my friends and I charge our phone so we could order an Uber from the concert we watched. (There was an insane amount of people. Many could have asked, she could have rejected but didn’t.) She offered us refreshments in the meantime of the phone to charge, and I just honestly couldn’t be any more grateful. I’m from a different state, and who knows if I could’ve made it home or not; but I did safely thanks to her.♥️♥️“
“I’m telling you, this place is amazing! Not your typical brewery - but we just had several flights and every beer, even those I don’t care for, are really good beers. They seriously know what they are doing! If you like good beer, you need to stop here!“

“Walking around the city, we found this gem! Great vibe Scottish pub with a full menu that made it hard to choose what to have for lunch. Server was working the tables and the patio out back but was killing it! Coleslaw was honestly incredible and the chips were addicting. It didn’t seem like you could go wrong with the menu, but the Mack Burger is highly recommended, by me.“

“The Acadia on West Bank is finally OPEN AGAIN!The menu consist of only burgers and a chicken sandwich for entrees but some tasty apps. They are not open for lunch at this time which is a bummer as the menu is perfect for a quick lunch. The lighting always seems a bit too bright and the music can be excruciating in regards to the volume. It's under new ownership or management but my hopes are they prosper and maintain a much needed "local" space with.“

“Stopped at Pat's Tap for the "Pat's Bacon Burger" and, i lie to you not, it's the best burger I've ever eaten. You know that episode of "How I Met Your Mother" where Marshall drags the crew around to find the best burger in New York? That's this burger. Nothing crazy; lettuce, tomato, aioli, avacado and bacon cooked INTO the patty all on a lightly toasted bun. Anyways, 10/10. Hats off to my chef.“

“While I customarily do not write Google reviews, the service was so excellent I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do so. I came to Dan Kelly's anticipating, and ultimately getting, a party of about thirty people joining me. Considering that staff had no warning that this level of intensity was coming to the establishment, they, and especially Laurel, did a fantastic job of managing sporadic orders, making sure the correct people got the correct orders, keeping track of the exact items, and ensuring no detail was forgotten. I cannot recommend them enough, and Laurel deserves a Nobel Prize for keeping up with the insanity. Oh yeah, and the food was delicious, even as cold leftovers. Thanks, Dan Kelly's!“

“Terrific place. I just moved into this neighborhood a month ago and I've already been here maybe a half dozen times. Love the atmosphere and the people not to mention the amazing burgers and chicken wings. Everything I want in a neighborhood joint and more. I'll be back again for sure.“

“Bar feel but clean inside. The server was great even though he had the whole restaurant by himself. The food came out quickly and it was very good. We got a std cheese burger with homemade fries (the highlight), Mount Blucuvious Blucy, Cobb Salad and Hella Totchos. Would definitely go back.“

“Met up with a big group of people here. Corinna was a wonder waiter! She made sure our our drinks were only half full before asking if we wanted more. She kept all our checks separate and accurate! The food was great, and they even had on-site parking!“

“School wasn’t in session yet, so I don’t think we got a fair shake. It was a Sunday evening, and it was slow and quiet. Much like a lot of the surrounding area tbh. From what I hear, it is a top favorite on campus. We didn’t eat, only got a round of drinks. Heard the food is really really good. Would definitely try again when students are back on campus“

“Great drinks and food, really cool building!
Only complaint is service was a bit slow, there was clearly only one server working at the time and she was running around like crazy dealing with every table while the 2 or 3 bartenders were standing on their phones lol. Maybe have less bartenders and more servers to balance out the workload.
That being said, our server (light blonde haired girl, I can’t remember her name?) was fantastic!!! Super kind, funny and helpful. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll be coming back for those nachos & long islands!“

“Tried for the first time today, and will absolutely be back every time I’m in the cities. If you’re coming for brunch, you gotta try the Shrimp & Grits! The food is excellent, and the service is superb! Every single person was super kind, helpful, and great at their job. The atmosphere is chill and fun. This is my new favorite spot to eat in Minneapolis.“
