I’ve been traveling the last few days and this was the perfect dish ~ fresh ingredients and taste with a wonderful flavor combo. I got the curry tofu bowl, which comes with an egg roll, and selected a pineapple peanut sauce to go on top. I would order it again tomorrow!Vegetarian options: The curry tofu bowl was SO GOOD. “Amazing Banh Mi. One of the best I've had. I had the steak banh mi without the Paté (I don't eat Pork), and it was delicious. Huge portion and very fillling, but also not heavy because of all the veggies.Great for a post workout protein packed meal. The spicy sauce is also amazing, but beware because it packs a punch. Highly recommend!“
“I've seen dagwoods recommended on quite a few pages so I made my way in when i had a weekday downtown. It is good, but not outstanding. Friendly counter staff. Quick enough. I just expect a lot out of an Italian sandwich and I've had better. But it's worth a stop“
“Bad day? I’m giving 4 stars but it was a 3 star experience. I went in and ordered the only thing I ever order (yeah, I’m one of those guys). They then called out a sandwich and I ignored it as it wasn’t mine. He said this is you. I said is it a big kahuna? He said no a chipotle is what you ordered. I said not even a slight chance. He turned around and threw the sandwich to a back counter and had a small fit. Told one of the other employees I told him the wrong sandwich (almost got me heated up). The sandwich was great, as usual. Service is usually great. I’m giving 4 instead of 3 because a bad day shouldn’t hurt the business. If he wouldn’t have blamed me I wouldn’t have even left this review. I will go back as I’m sure it was a fluke.“
“I ordered delivery and with confusion, I received the wrong sando from what I ordered. I called the shop and the manager was very nice and apologetic and 15 mins later I received what I ordered. Absolutely delicious and great customer service! You guys rock!“
“After working downtown over a year, I am getting sick of the chain sandwich shops. Simple sandwich is just that, simple and very delicious. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. On top of great food, extremely friendly staff and a clean dining room, they have amazing prices. If you can get a full “combo meal” under $13 downtown in 2023, that deserves 5 stars. Can wait to try a salad or breakfast! This will be a weekly lunch spot for me…they should institute a punch card! ?“
“Food is good. Banh mi is good. I'd bring my non Vietnamese friends here maybe. I wouldn't bring family here who are looking for a Vietnamese atmosphere. I personally won't come here again, but if you don't have a connection to the food here, it's good enough!“
“My small catering order for 9 people was a big hit! People liked the deli sandwiches, potato salad and Trudy's cranberry apple salad. Large portions and delivery went smoothly. Food was fresh but arrived earlier than expected. Better than late but I was glad I had refrigerator space to keep until it was time for our party. Will be visiting and ordering for lunch again!“
“I was reminded of this today, so I wanted to note that maybe 6-12 months ago, I ordered delivery from this location via a secondary delivery service and the driver brought completely the wrong order. I called the location to see if they could correct the issue with the driver and the manager - who had actually already realized the issue - told me to keep the food that had been accidentally delivered and then drove me my remade order herself. Way above and beyond the call of duty and great service!“

“My daughter and I got sandwiches to go. She got the steak flatbread and I got the tuna on Italian. We expected Subway and we got Subway! The bread was fresh and delicious and the veggies were fresh as well. I wish Subway’s proteins were a little better (the tuna is the cheap brown flake stuff), but our food was good!
