“I’ve been here three times already and it never misses. Huge shout-out to their lamb sandwiches and of course, the handmade noodles. I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

“The food was simply delicious that we had to unbutton our pants. Definitely enjoyed all the dishes we had from start to finish. The portion sizes are generous and we had to take away our food. Definitely recommend checking this place out! The interior also had very great ambience and it’s a good spot for celebration meals or if you just wanna try some good Indian food in the cities. 100/10“

Nolte Center Soup •

“Beautiful 30s era building with many of the original wooden floor-boards, window sills, radiator heaters, and tables. Very comfortable space for work or study with several of my favorite rooms to reserve for workshops or events. Lots of natural lighting, and even a space with couches and a fireplace! (which I do not believe is still in use).Definitely check it out if you're looking for a quiet, low-traffic nook.“

“Decent salads, and many good toppings to choose from. They have a menu or you can build your own. I personally enjoy their Classic Caesar, but if you want to add some chicken, it's an upcharge. To be honest, the only drawback to this place is the price. $10 - $15 for a simple salad is a little much in my opinion. However, it's fast, and good for anyone trying to lose a few inches around the waist. Sadly, if you make it a regular occurrence, your wallet may end up getting thinner faster than you.

Still, I'd recommend the place. Quick service, decent quality food, good if you're grabbing something quick to take back to the office.“

“Service was fast, but I just can't give more stars when it's order and pay at the assembly line. Food was fresh and the facility was clean. If there is a washroom here, it's hidden. Healthy options but has a fast, subway like vibe.“

“I don't get here often, because so many of the stores have closed. I like their sandwiches. Had a Narmer (turkey, provolone and avocado) on wheat. The bread was fresh and tasted good. The sandwich was well made. The shop is unremarkable and seemed clean.“

“CLARIFICATION: I went to the Karmel Mall restaurant by this name in late summer, not sure if it's the same as the restaurant by the same name across from In the Heart of the Beast Theater, since several Somali restaurants have similar names to this one. I wasn't especially hungry, but servers at the order counter explained menu items patiently after finding someone who could speak English well. I ordered a simple soup with cabbage in a cup. It was a bold, spicy, filling cup of soup and the vegetables still had some texture to them. They had a handwashing station conveniently close to the table. A real standout was the warmth of the people. A random guy who sat at the same table was eating some a Somali beef entree over rice, and shared some with me (not pictured), and that was also very delicious. I was touched by the generosity. During my meal, people told me this was the first restaurant in the Karmel Mall. It seemed a very family-friendly place cuz I saw lots of families eating there together. I will certainly be back.“
