Dairy Queen in Minneapolis

“The best DQ in the state. Something about the soft serve that stands out from the rest. I think it is the setting of the temperature and moisture control. They get it perfect. Also the service is quick and very friendly. He hires local kids and treats them well and they aer trained well.“

“ALLERGIES BEWARE: I came to this location on Saturday and ordered a Fruity Pebbles Shake. The shake itself was incredible, service was also great, however I bit into peanuts on at least 6 occasions.

Luckily I don’t have any allergies but as someone coming from over a decade in the food and beverage industry, the cross contamination was very alarming as allergies are usually always taken very seriously. Not sure if the Butterfingers were next to the Fruity Pebbles, or the same scoop was used. But I just wanted to leave a review for any future patrons with allergies.

Other than that, amazing experience here and will definitely be back!“

“➖ Our blizzards weren't mixed all the way so by the time we got to the bottom, it was pretty much just plain white soft serve LOL
Also, FYI – they stop serving food a bit before they actually close.

➕ There is a nice outdoor seating area at this location of and a good amount of free parking availability in their private lot. Just by chance we visited on a day they were doing a charity fundraiser where a portion of their proceeds was donated to a good cause, so it's nice that this business participates in these types of events.“

“Gabby who works here gave excellent customer service. She went above and beyond helping with an issue we had. She was very friendly, polite, and professional. It’s very difficult to find employees that give such great customer service and I hope her management knows what a valuable employee they have working here.“

“Omg I moved to Minneapolis over 2 years ago and thought there were no DQs for me...then while meandering in the Skyway I found this place!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
I immediately got a smoothie and their pretzels with cheese, perfect post school snack! The dude behind the counter was incredibly friendly and in my hangry state I almost chose an Orange Julius over a smoothie but he kindly explained the difference.
I will be coming here regularly because DQ is the greatest and also the workers are nice. Yay!!!!!“

“Love the brick old fashioned style of this Dairy Queen, small store with nice outdoor seating under the shade of a large tree made for an enjoyable experience. Blizzards were delivered promptly by friendly staff and were delicious. Overall felt my visit was well worth while!

Parking: Roughly four free parking spots on location.“
