“The food was great. The atmosphere was great. I'm posting to compliment the staff, in particular Diego. My friends and our kids came to eat lunch on 12/29/23. He was around collecting things and whatnot, already making our visit pleasant. My 4 y/o left her 1-of-a-kind hat behind (as they do). It wasn't until an hour later when I realized. After a 20 min drive back, I bumped into Diego who immediately knew why I returned. He had the hat tucked away safely. My kid was beyond elated. He's a hero in my eyes. Thank you again Diego!“
“Oh, there's this amazing family-owned restaurant that serves food that tastes just like homemade Iranian cuisine. It's so comforting to have that authentic taste of home-cooked Iranian meals here in the US. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, treating you like family from the moment you step in. It really feels like being at home.“
“In love with the vibe of this place, it is dark and rustic with light wood, velvet upholstered seating, and minimal decor. The feel is a bit pretentious, but not off putting in my opinion. The food is mostly small bites and a couple sandwiches, and the wine and drinks menu is fairly priced and thoughtful.I got the olives and pickled vegetables, and the eggplant red pepper dip with crudités. The picked veg was great- crunchy carrots, cauliflower and other veg pickled to vinegary perfection. The olives were big meaty Castlevetrano olives. For me things went downhill with the dip and vegetables. The dip was sweet and spicy, but the assortment of vegetables was not my cup of tea. I didn’t touch the celery or the green onion (was I supposed to eat that on its own..?) The cooked mushrooms were good and the quality of the vegetables were great, but I should’ve asked what veg was included before ordering. Also, a bit of bread included with this would be a nice addition, without needing to order it separate and pay extra. The apricot old fashioned was okay- a tad sweet up front and bitter on the end. I was happy with it but it is on the sweeter side.Overall I did enjoy Dutch Bar. 2 small plates and 2 drinks were about $50 and they do add a hospitality service fee, but such is the current climate when dining out.I will also mention there was a strong smoky cooking smell in the place. However, I am eager to visit again and try out a few other items!“
“Visited Eat Street Crossing for their Monday trivia night and was thoroughly impressed! The trivia starts at 7pm on the second floor, offering a quieter atmosphere that I really appreciated. The ordering system is modern and convenient—just scan a QR code, place your order, and they'll text you when it's ready for pickup. I tried the sushi sandwich, edamame, and seaweed salad, all of which were absolutely delicious. The trivia was a blast too. Highly recommend for a fun and tasty evening out!“
“Very cool-one building with multiple, unique kitchens with a variety of cuisines. Food is for pick up/delivery only. I ordered and paid online from the Thai restaurant for pick up. I got a text when it was done so I drove over and inside I used tablets to let them know I was here- it will either direct you to the lockers or the counter for pick up. The tablet directed me to wait at the counter for my food. They scanned my wrapped up food order and I was on my way! Such a cool way for loads of restaurants to produce amazing food while removing a lot of stress/overhead for them. This is one building housing easily 5+ restaurants, will be returning to try others! My Ethiopian Uber driver said the Ethiopian kitchen here is very authentic, so I’m trying that next!“
“Thank you to the gas attendant that was so kind to me this morning after I was reprimanded by another customer for pulling ahead and using the pump ahead of him. I had two little kids in the car, one of which was a newborn I just had less than 2 weeks ago who also happens to cry incessantly in the van. I was on the verge of tears when you assured me that what I did was right and the other gentleman shouldn’t have been berating me. Thank you for helping me pump my gas and just being a genuinely good human. Can someone please tell him how much I appreciate it, seeing as I could barely hold my composure until I got back in my van?“
“I've been to Malcolm Yards a few times and always have been pleased with my food. There is plenty of parking that is free and paid street parking. The inside and outside areas offer plenty of seating. Inside there are several food vendors to choose from and you can order from multiple. This time I got the chipotle sweet potato and roasted nabo sueco tacos from Martes. They were between $5-6 each, so not bad of a price. These tacos were so delicious, I didn't want them to end! I was so glad I went and tried these, but you can't go wrong with the other vendors either. The empanadas at Del Sur are amazing! Overall very cool spot to hang out, but can get expensive quickly if you don't pay attention.“
