“This location has quickly become one of my favorites because of a specific barista Jade! She is the main reason I keep coming back to this Starbucks. From the moment you walk in, she is friendly, welcoming, and always has such a positive attitude.

She makes the most incredible White Chocolate Mocha, and somehow her sweet cream foam is perfect every single time. What I appreciate most is that she truly listens to her customers. No matter how customized, picky, or over-the-top an order might be, Jade takes the time to get it right and consistently delivers a great drink.

She is also incredibly efficient and keeps things moving while still making every customer feel valued. It is rare to find someone who combines speed, attention to detail, and genuine kindness as well as she does.“

“This is my new favorite Starbucks. It's beautiful and the service is top-notch. I stopped in a couple of weeks ago on a cold, snowy night. Aleah took my order. She was friendly, engaging and went above and beyond to make sure she had prepared all 5 beverages perfectly. She displayed exemplary customer service. It was my first time to this Starbucks, but it definitely won't be my last!“

“I got the butterfly lemonade refresher the other day and it was soo good!! The service was a little sloppy though, and I had to wait in a line for a long time and I was the very first person In line, but no one was there to take my order 😭😭 other than that though, the workers were really nice.“

“Five stars for the vibes and service. As Na Li incorrectly states in their one star review, the music was not loud. My life partner of 10 years wished it was LOUDER, going to ask the names of several songs cuz the music wasn't damn loud enough for her shazam to work. They were so. Damn. Good. Starbucks normally feel like lifeless customer service monoliths grown from the ashes of what was once a charming cafe, but the dinkytown location has reclaimed some of their original spirit, through deliberate staff effort. Props to y'all.“

“Inside the Marquette hotel, it is very busy, so there is a looooooooong wait even though you used the app to order ahead. I used the app to order 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. The food was ready rather rapidly, and then we waited 13 minutes as we watched people that had ordered specialty coffees leave before us. When we questioned the batista she had a major attitude and responded "you have to be patient". 13 minutes for 2 cups of regular coffee that was already brewed. Skip this joint and go one block to the one in target where they have no attitude. This place is closed on Sundays.“

“Did on line ordering. Pulled up to order menu and stated I had an order. Was asked my name and was told to “come around!”. Got my drink right away. So pleasant and kind. I stopped going to Starbucks (another location) months ago. I received a gift card so I ordered today. I will stop in here from now on!“

“I don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews for this location! I’ve never had anything but fantastic service. Everyone working here is friendly, kind, and makes delicious drinks. They’re fast and get you what you ordered right away. Sometimes I’ve had to wait if there’s a big line or a lot of online orders coming in, but…they’re humans! They aren’t coffee making robots! Overall this location is peaceful, fast, and I prefer to go here every time. Much better than the other Starbucks on Hennepin, that one is always busy with a cramped parking lot and it takes forever to get your order. 10/10 love this spot!“

“They’ve made a lot of improvements over the years and the service is always pleasant. I will say though they do struggle with Nitros a bit. I’ve tested it several times over the last few weeks, and every sweet cream Nitro I’ve gotten here is usually 30-50% foam. Bummer for the price.
Idk if it’s pouring technique or their draft equipment but unfortunately it’s been a consistent experience here.“

“I just had to write this review it saddens, my heart that this location is closed. I was there when it was announced last Friday. I have been working from home for the last 5 years. Every now and then, when I would have to come downtown and work, I will stop at that Starbucks. It saddens my heart that they have taken away a location out that was more than likely convenient to a lot of downtown people that are back to work. And the people were very nice, and I just don't understand why it's closed, because I always noticed it was busy. There was always a line, as far as I can see, I just don't understand that. You know, you took away a very good location of workers and hopefully all those workers will be able to relocate somewhere. I wish everyone good luck in their journey and I hope that corporate will find you somewhere to work.“

“I mean, what can you say about a Starbucks the hasn't already been said about a McDonald's? It's a corporate, consistent experience. If you want your money going to some far away corporate board, drink here. Otherwise go to a locally owned coffee house.“

“Parking: There’s a small little strip mall I guess is what you would call it with three other shops in it and then Starbucks is at the end of the parking lot. So there’s limited parking for the Starbucks if the shops are busy. You pull in the same parking lot to go through the drive-through, so if the drive-through is busy, it can take you a minute to get into a parking spot.“

“I am a frequent customer, almost every Friday morning after I drop my son off at school I swing by Target and grab a coffee while I do some shopping... I want to give a shout out to Wei and say he's doing a great job! Wei was working diligently making everybody's coffee this morning and anouncing the drinks with confidence all while correcting and informing his associate of Starbucks standards. She failed to wear her name tag so I can't mention her name. She didn't greet me at the counter as if i was a person, she was looking around waiting for me to talk, I didn't order until she actually looked me in the eye. I heard her say while preparing my drink "well, this is easier" and Wei replied with professionalism "you Have to do it the same way". Anyways, thank you Wei for working hard like most of your associates I see on my Friday morning Target/Starbucks runs. I appreciate you.“
