McDonald's in Minneapolis

“For McDonald’s, my experience here has been impressive. For $5 from the value menu, I get a 1,000 calorie meal and sometimes a McChicken for free through rewards. I’ve ordered about 20 times, and never had an inaccurate order. The place gets very busy, so use the app and order during downtimes (you can see busy times on Google Maps), and you can expect a <5 min wait when less busy. Five stars for value and accuracy.“

“I have never really paid much attention to the staff at a restaurant such as McDonald’s, especially since they have moved away from human interaction and switched to everything being kiosks and digital ordering. However, I was so deeply impressed at this location. I have never seen a restaurant outside of the fine dining category with as nicely dressed and polite staff as this McDonald’s. Every staff member I interacted with was dressed so well they would not have been out of place in an office building did they not have the McDonald’s logo on them.

Very impressed, obviously management has a standard they uphold that is difficult to find in today’s fast food.“

“I do food delivery and the staff has been decent at this location, with the exception of one employee who is not very nice to food delivery drivers in the mornings.
They do get the orders out relatively fast and I haven't had issues with items missing from the sealed bags.

I would give a higher score, however I am not a fan of their product. I prefer to make my own meals fresh using quality ingredients. But that's me, I am a gourmet food snob and my taste buds like what they like.“

“So I ordered lunch using the mobile app today around 10:30am and when I arrived they told me that the breakfast hours have recently changed to 11am. Instead of telling me to get lost they went out of their way to make what I ordered even though they were still serving breakfast. They didn't have to do it but they did it anyway, so I figured I'd write this review and show some love and support for the workers, they're good people and I wish well“

“Columbia Heights location was very good with my special sandwich I always have when I'm going to McDonald's nowadays it's the number 6 fish fillet sandwich with mayonnaise pickles lettuce tomato and two slices of bacon they made it correct it was delicious but unfortunately they said that you got to be let him buy an employee to the bathroom because the students from whatever high schools around here we're doing some Tick Tock challenges and damage to the bathroom. So outside of that I will be going back again“

“Food - McDonald’s is McDonald’s. It’s about as McDonald’s as you can get. Never left here thinking the food was bad, and certainly never found anything in my food, or found it undercooked.

Service - All the staff I’ve ever communicated with here have been friendly. There was one time recently where the employees somehow missed the breakfast sauce on one of my breakfast sandwiches, and I contacted support and they graciously reached out to me to give to make up. I’m overall very happy with this location.

Atmosphere - Every time I’ve come here is around morning to lunchtime. There can be some louder customers every once in a while, but overall the staff keep the location very clean.“

“this McDonald's over the entire time I've lived here since 2019 has always been on point. The drive-thru is faster than any McDonald's that deals with this much volume. I don't know who owns this but they must keep their management and operations running smoothly. I avoid other McDonald's and go to this one because they always meet expectations or better. Is it a little sketchy inside because of the location and the high volume of homelessness? Honestly yes. would I go inside at night or maybe even during the day if I were female? probably not. But imo, there are a pros and cons to living in a city. and pros and cons to this McDonald's. for me the pros of both FAR outweigh the cons“

“It's McDonald's. Unless you are an extra terrestrial, you should know what that means. If you are, let me know and I'll tell you everything you could want about McDonald's. And Earthlings in general. And America specifically.

One can dine-in at this location, which can't be said of every McDonald's nowadays. Not sure I like the self ordering kiosk, but you don't have to use it you don't want to.

Bacon is hit or miss.“

“This McDonald's is terrible. The food is good but it is not worth the hassle of what you have to go through. Starting off with they have gotten my order wrong so many times. one time when I ordered online on Thanksgiving to pick it up at the location and no one was there and they said I had got my order“

“Stopped in for breakfast and coffee — the coffee is definitely the highlight here, consistently hot and flavorful. The food is solid overall, about an 8 out of 10, with the hash brown being a personal favorite. That said, for nearly $3, it’s disappointing when it arrives cold, which has happened on occasion.

They're currently running the Monopoly game, but unlike some locations, this store uses game piece cards instead of placing stickers on the packaging. Because of that, the staff sometimes forgets to hand them out — something to watch for if you're participating.

Despite those minor issues, the overall experience at this location has been great. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is well-kept. Easily the best McDonald's in the area in my opinion. I’ll definitely continue coming back.“

“This store is close to where I work. I can't always get away so I use doordash. I continuely get incomplete orders wrong drinks no napkins no cutlery and cold food. But I keep trying. Now I have just started to except the fact that its not possible to get the right things in my bag that I have ordered from this location. Its not just the food its the drinks too. I order unsweetened tea and what arrives is an iced coffee. Guess its time to give up.“

“The line was long but the people who served me at the drive thru were so nice and respectful. Despite the line being long, they all worked hard . Sadly, I do not know any of their names but I went around 1:00. Thanks for the wonderful service.“
