Had a good Margarita special. The margarita was actually really good. Got the food order right. We said multiple times we wanted to sit at a table and we try putting us in a booth multiple times. The chips were stale today. I don't think they were homemade.
I’ve never been sad eating tacos, but this is the closest I’ve come. Went to Riviera Maya Cantina with my family and we all tried something different. The overall theme was no flavor. This was the most bland south of the border food I’ve ever had. And the seasoning that could be tasted out of place and wrong. To start with, the chips taste like standard bagged chips. A great neighborhood Mexican restaurant! The restaurant is cozy and colorful and the service was exceptional. Their menu has everything! The portions are decent and a great value. We enjoyed the chimichangas and enchiladas tres. All very tasty, my only critique is that I didn't really like their chips- they were a little too thick and stale for me. I guess I prefer the thin and crispy style, but the salsa was fresh. We will be back!
