“I placed an online order for a cheese quesadilla, but when I arrived to pick it up, I discovered it had chicken in it. I politely informed the manager at the register, but he immediately told me that I had placed the order incorrectly and refused to remake it unless I paid for another one. Since I had already paid and did not want the incorrect item, I was understandably frustrated.

I decided to purchase the rest of my food and slid the bag with the incorrect quesadilla back across the counter, stating that I did not want it. The manager became upset over that and then refused to let me pay for the rest of my order.

At that point, I asked to speak with the other manager on duty. He immediately stepped in, listened to my concerns, and without hesitation remade my cheese quesadilla. Victor, who was working on the make line, also helped by cashing me out and was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional throughout the interaction.

I especially want to recognize Victor for his exceptional customer service. He demonstrated outstanding de-escalation skills, remained calm, respectful, and welcoming, and helped turn what had been a very frustrating experience into a positive one. Employees with his level of professionalism and people skills are invaluable in the restaurant industry. Victor has the qualities of a strong leader and would make an excellent manager. He deserves recognition for the way he represents your company and the care he shows your customers.“

“We've ordered here a few times, and the food has been superb. The service is friendly, and best of all, they accept card payment!
We ordered taco platters, where you get 3 tacos, plus a side of refried beans and rice. The beans and rice are flavorful and delicious. The tacos we went with were the pollo (chicken), carnitas (pork), and carne asada (steak). They came on corn tortillas (as they should) topped with onions and cilantro. The tortillas were soft and scrumptious, and the ingredients were cooked perfectly.
We also ordered a side of the chicken nachos which was a HUGE portion. The tortilla chips were a little soft, but what the chip consistency lacked the toppings made up for. The chicken was well-seasoned for a perfect flavor combo with the jalapeños, cheese, pico, and crema toppings. We will be back!
Tip: Don't sleep on the taco sauce they provide. The avocado and habanero salsas were soooo good.
4 stars for atmosphere because its a food truck and not an actual sit-down restaurant. It's not a knock on the business, but with only 1 picnic table to sit at, it leaves a little to be desired when you want to eat, right then, right there.“

“This is some of the best authentic Mexican food in the area. I’m from Chicago where there’s plenty of good Mexican restaurants.

“It has been a while since coming here under the new Ownership. I am glad I chose to reinvestgate. I ordered the Sothern fried steak, which came with hash browns and toast with coffee and water. The steak and gravy was one of the best I have ever had. The hash browns were good yet could have been browned a little more. The coffee was rich and did the job. Our Server was prompt and tentative. Great attitude. The price was an expected value, especially with the Senior discount. I am already planning a return trip to try some of their South American cuisine. “I orginally ordered two grilled chicken tacos and one shredded beef taco, then I was still hungry so I ordered three additional grilled chicken tacos. The chicken meat was not very flavorful or hot, and the chicken meat seemed a bit chewy and tuff. The shredded beef taco was extremely greasy and gross. I only ate what i ordered that was served to out of respect and because I was extremely hungry. I ordered a ice water with a lemon with my meal, so there was no charge for that. Although when the bill came I was in shock to get a bill for $36 for six tacos with absolutely nothing else. I brought it to another staff members attention and he did a slight adjustment on my bill to make it $32 although that is still ridiculous for six tacos. I will never give this restaurant any business ever again and I am going to recommend all my colleagues,friends and associates don't give them any business either.“

“This is our favorite Mexican food truck in town. It is parked across from Menards in Brooklyn Park. We stop here for a quick most authentic Mexican food almost every time we visit Menards. Senior Benjamin is the friendliest cook we have ever met, we always try practicing our minuscule Spanish and he always plays along. They make burritos really fast and by far, their burritos taste better than Chipotle’s. Their burritos are packed with fresh flavorful Ingredients, with meats that are well marinated and seasoned to perfection. You can eat right there under the shade of the tree or take your order to go and eat at home. Their portions are huge! One burrito can easily feed two people.“

“I’m in the middle of eating my burrito but I had to make this review now. I relocated to the area in early 2020 from Nevada and since have been unable to find Mexican food that was comparable…until tonight. Picked this spot because it was the closet Mexican restaurant on the way home and it wasn’t a chain restaurant or fast food. This burrito is so good. It tasted like home and that was a really good feeling. This area is home now and this location will really help add to the feeling! If it isn’t clear, I will ABSOLUTELY be back and recommend it to everyone.“

“I ended up coming here for dinner, and I ordered the Discovery Luxe Box, with a Baja Blast, and some Nacho Fries! The cantina tacos were so good, especially when you put the Jalapeno Citrus sauce on them! The burrito was decent. The Cinnamon twist thingies were also delicious! And the Nacho Fries where amazing!! Everything was done in just under 10 minutes, and the food was hot and fresh!!! I would definitely come back again!!!“
