Sadly I learned today that this place is closed permanently. A favorite bof our family elder for the fruited pancakes. His favorite we're peach.
The best hash browns in Anoka County. Not to mention always yummy eggs, ham and pancakes. Eggs Benedict from here are a must.
This place is my favorite family owned diner. Amazing everything and very fast service even when they are busy. I went to a chain and was mad at myself all day for skipping the real deal. G's cafe is the real deal!? percent my favorite neighborhood spot.
G's Irish Cafe does not really serve Irish food but does have excellent diner food. The menu includes breakfast and burgers and sandwiches. The food was well cooked and presented. I went for lunch but look forward to going back and trying breakfast.
Small, and small town taken to a negative extreme. We waited for about 40 minutes (after an estimate of 20). The brunch food didn't taste very good.I won't go back if we're in the area again.
Best bacon in town. Great place for breakfast, I've never been disappointed there. Friendly staff.
Was looking for a local restaurant to support and to enjoy breakfast at for my best friends birthday and I'm glad I chose here. It was the first time for both of us coming here. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly and the food was wonderful. Even though they were packed full we were constantly checked in on and our coffee and waters were always full. I definitely will return.
The food was very good and the service was great! Very friendly waitresses! Thanks!
We love going to G's cafe! Great breakfast and lunch options to please anyone. The staff are all so friendly and know their customers well!
Lovely casual diner with lots of regulars. Chocolate cake is the best.

Loved the food. Corned beef hash may be the best in the state; it's the best I've ever eaten. Coffee was basic but plentiful. Basted eggs were good. Service was sufficient and the waitresses kind. This is my only disappointment: my friend and I stayed for three hours. As we were closing our time, the manager (I think) came and told us quickly that the busy time of the day was starting and they needed tables. In so many words, you need to leave. There were at least four tables open and no one was waiting.Whether right or wrong, it didn't sit well with me. Maybe it was the gruff way he said it in passing; maybe it was the short-term value he was placing on the dollar over the patron, I don't know. All I do know is that up until that point, I had a wonderful time. After that point, I'm questioning whether or not I want to come back--awesome corned beef hash or not. Maybe I'm old-school--patron over dollar. Now--if the lines were long and the tables were full, sure--I would have been out of there without a thought.Overall, great food. Nice atmosphere. Questionable priorities.
I come here with my mom occasionally and always have a great experience! One thing that I notice is everything is kept very clean and you can tell the staff takes great pride in their restaurant. Service is usually very quick and everyone is always welcoming and friendly. Love it!
Amazing food and our server was just awesome . Would definitely come again with my parents.
Amazing food and made with love
Food was excellent as always. There was a slight wait for a table, and the service was a bit slow. However the service we received was outstanding.
