We’ve lived in the area for several years and recently moved to Anoka. We saw their Lent fish fry special while driving around and decided to give it a try.
All I can say is wow!!! The fish was some of the best I’ve had in years, the fry’s were amazing, the coleslaw was good, the Guinness was perfectly served, and the waitstaff was great!!!
It’s a nice cozy pub atmosphere but you need to get there early because it’s not really large and fills up early. We’ll definitely be returning!!!

The staff was excellent. The environment was really good, server was constantly checking in but the food was a miss for me and my wife. We both had burgers they we're really bland and the french fry was a small portion and for almost $20 a burger and fry didn't meet our expectation

Great local corner pub. Crowded, fun, loud, and local on a Friday night! The food came out fast. They have a tasty Rueben sandwich and a proper pour of Guinness Stout. The atmosphere is part Irish pub, part sports bar, and part college bar. Videos of people drinking their signature drink play one of the TV screens. (Sorry I don’t recall the name of the drink.)

Beautiful old bar. The kind of place where they do fries right! Thin, crispy, and flavorful. My regards to the bartenders for keeping such a lovely place. Go raibh maith agat!
GREAT OWNERS...GREAT STAFF...GREAT ATMOSPHERE..
Cozy Irish bar right by Anoka City Hall. We came for lunch and had excellent, friendly service. Irish Dip sandwich had tender corned beef, grilled onions and cheese. It was delicious. (but very salty) Burgers are wonderful, super crisp tasty bacon. French fries were hot and crisp and they come unsalted. (That's a good thing) Another table had fish and chips and it looked really appealing. Out door seating in summer. Wr.
This place is our regular date spot. The ambiance is fun and inviting. It may be a bar, but the food is WONDERFUL. Don't discredit this place if you don't enjoy bar food. We have tried many things from their menu and it is all spectacular. My favorite few things are the reuben rolls, and the chicken quesadilla. Good service, good drinks, great spot! A highlight of downtown Anoka.
Such amazing food! Will definitely be a frequent stop for fish and chicken!
