Was part of a large group (13 people) that met in the back area. Our server was great. Checked in often and didn't interrupt our conversation/presentation. The manager assisted and made sure we had everything we needed.
I ordered the Acapulco Platter. It was edible, but very over cooked. The chicken was dry, the shrimp rubbery and the cheese sauce was runny. Since I limit my carbs I only ate half the rice and very little of the beans. The accompanying Salas was fresh and delicious. I didn't send it back as it would have been difficult where I was seated in the group but It was clear that the cook doesn't prepare it often.

Our service was great however what really prompts the review are the bathrooms and some of the food. We visited the restaurant last week and at that time there were broken soap dispensers in the bathrooms and also no soap at all in the men's bathroom. Most likely a shared facility with the cooks and servers. The meals we ordered were ok but the consistency of the queso dip was not. Our third order of queso was most likely watered down in an attempt to serve us quickly without having to make more queso.

Fantastic Food & Great Atmosphere at Señor Patrón!
Señor Patrón is a fantastic spot for delicious Mexican cuisine. The food was incredibly good, especially the Pollo a la Brasa and the Steak, both cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service was very good, friendly, attentive, and efficient. The overall environment was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

An unassuming corner of a strip mall has surprisingly good and authentic Mexican food. Huge margaritas and delicious food. If you live west of the metro this is some of the best Mexican food you will find.
Excellent food, service & friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!!

Restaurantji Recommends
My husband and I each ordered the Burrito Chile Reyenos (a burrito with chile relleno inside) and it was phenomenal! Both the red and the green sauce were very authentic and reminded us of flavors from Mexico. I wound up wanting both sauces on mine and my husband had just the red (spicy) sauce. Their salsa was very good as well, the right amount of thickness that we expect at an authentic restaurant. Their chips were also perfect and not too salty like a lot of other places around this area.
The waiter had no one else to wait on while we were there (we got there at 3pm) and was a bit slow to bring us new chips and salsa (had to ask for refills individually on both after we sat there for 10 minutes wondering). The place has a few caveats with their building including one of the bathroom stalls not functioning in the women’s bathroom (the handicap stall) as well as the hand soap dispenser being completely out and the only soap in the bathroom was dishsoap. The air filter above our table (previously reviewed as full and dirty) was recently cleaned but still dusty, they should paint that one like the rest of the ceiling to match as it does take away from the space a bit. The tables, booths, and chairs are classy and really are comfortable compared to many other restaurants in the area as well.
Definitely recommend trying the authentic food! Overall I’m giving 5 stars because of that!

Went for lunch around 1pm. There was another table and us. Margaritas were delicious, but the food was very bland. The ceiling was dripping water on the floor, and the vent above us was covered in dust. Salsa watered down. Dissapointed. Not sure if we'll be back?
