Different music and not so loud. It sort of went against the whole "speakeasy" atmosphere. Some jazz would have been more fitting. I'm not necessarily a lover of jazz, but to keep with the speakeasy feel, it would be nice.
Good spot. Fun vibes and live music.
But we were disappointed with the lack of creativity to the cocktails we ordered. We had 4–3 off menu & 1 mix it up which is bartenders choice (no complaining or refunds per menu) All read very “fun” but really tasted uninteresting and lacked the feel of “special” which was the intent of our orders. We frequent lots of cocktail bars so maybe our bar is a bit too high on that front.

I have been to the hardware store probably 30 times by this point, and it is still my favorite place anywhere near Anoka/Champlin. Not only are the drinks and atmosphere amazing, but the staff has always treated us amazingly. Tonight, specifically, we had a bad Uber experience on the way in.
