I went to the grand opening of the new Café de Paris in Apple Valley and was so excited to finally have a French bakery nearby—no more long drives to Edina or St. Paul! I’ve already been back twice since then. They have a great selection of pastries and desserts that taste authentic and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting too.
The only thing I’d like to see improved is the customer service—it could be a bit more attentive and welcoming. Overall, though, I’m really happy this place opened in our neighborhood and will definitely keep coming back!

Excellent cafe/bakery with good coffee and a nice seating area. Eat in or takeout.

Extremely disappointing. Went here for some great pastries and ended up with either stale, hard croissants or soggy eclairs. But that’s not the most upsetting part of this experience. The service there was horrible. At least 3 employees were just milling around chatting while a line formed and then when they did work they seemed really confused about where anything was and caused many delays in service. No sense of urgency or customer service at all, no politeness or respect. I’d much rather drive to Richfield and visit Tour de Jours then come here again.

Very busy! Great service and wonderful food. Not nearly enough space for all the people.
Everything was a delicious and tasty. Nothing stood out as better than I would have expected but all were really good.

There has to be an easier way to order they have 5 people standing there doing nothing but I can't order until I get to the checkout.

After several visits, I can say with confidence that you should RUN (don’t walk or you’ll miss out) to this French-style bakery - and then keep coming back. Apple Valley needed this classy, delicious establishment and it scores on all counts - delectable pastries, coffee bar, and a cozy, classy atmosphere. From the giant croissants to the delicious eclairs, add an americano (for only 3.75!?!?) and you’ll be in heaven as you start your day. Get here early or be prepared to wait in line (especially in the weekend) but it’s worth the wait.

Met the owner and honest opinion wasn’t a first good impression and is rude to his employees. I wonder how they stay there and now after I seen what goes on behind the scene I no longer can support this business and have lots of complaints towards the owner himself. All 1 stars towards the owner, employees are great!

Hands down, the best bunh mi in the whole south metro! Tons of quality meat and paté, pickled veggies, and fresh crunchy bread. The price seems a tiny bit high, but it's almost double the size of other bunh mi. Pastries and croissants were also good! Will be going back to try some of the fancier tarts and cakes another time. There is a nice area to sit and enjoy your snacks inside, good for solo or small groups.

Great quality, beautiful and delicious bakeries but very overpriced in my opinion. Costs more per crossaint than Marc Heu, Tous Les Jours or Paris Baguette for similar items and quality. 4 items cost more than $20 which is a lot in this economy in my opinion.

My husband and my mom are obsessed with their croissants both the regular melt in your mouth option or the chocolate croissant! The breads, desserts and danish options are one of a kind and the taste is just like when we were in Paris! love that they came to our little corner of the world!

Very good croissants. Was hoping for more chocolate in the chocolate croissant, but it was still really crispy and flaky so can't really take off any stars for it. Only complaint is the longer line and semi slow service. I feel like it shouldn't 5 minutes to just take 2 items out of the case. Overall would recommend this place for delicious pastries.

Café de Paris, of Apple Valley, was a delightful morning coffee and pastry destination. It offered an amazing selection of French pastries, both sweet and savory. I’m already planning my next visit. ❤️
