6/25/25. Bartender very abrupt and almost rude. Did not feel welcomed here at all. Staying at the Grand in AV because restaurant is onsight. Food was greasy, but definitely good. Will reconsider staying here for long term this winter because like to not drive drive when drinking and thought this place would be perfect. kindness is key these days. Tipped 20% to try and make it worth her while to be here. Too bad - with better attitude this bar/food could be a huge success.

My husband and I are staying at the GrandStays hotel, and Nate the front desk clerk recommended we come here. The prices are super reasonable, and the food is worth every penny.
On our first visit, My husband tried the Pork Ribeye which came with fries, and he got a cup of Manhattan Clam Chowder. I got the Surf and surf I got coleslaw and rice pilaf as my sides.
Everything was delicious, and since we're staying multiple nights we stopped back in for lunch the day.
Our second visit, my husband got a steak sandwich which came with fries, and he got onion rings on the side.
I got a bowl of the Manhattan Clam Chowder because it was that good , and I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad. Again, everything was delicious.
It's a little hidden, there is a street entrance and a side entrance between the GrandStays hotel entrance and the convention center but it is well worth finding your way in.

A smaller restaurant on the ground floor of a hotel. My burger was super good, beer was cold, and service was friendly

They have the best Rueben sandwich.

Too noisy to hold a conversation and corned beef was dry. Didn't even have Harps, an Irish beer!
The Reuben Rolls appetizer was great!

Cody Khan

relaxed no fuss pub with lots of TVs. Shepards pie was great, give it a try!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. 95 % scratch kitchen, Irish and American, done VERY well. Craft cocktails and the owners annually pick their own casks of Makers Mark from the distillery itself. Gound floor of the the Grandstay in Apple Valley, MN. Also live music.

Fun little joint, friendly staff, excellent food, and a very large selection of beers and cocktails. I had a great "Old Fashioned" on my last visit. I also highly recommend their Sirloin Tips. They can also accommodate Celiac Disease diets. Several GF food items, plus GF buns, and even a GF beer. For entertainment: pull tabs, a Bingo night, a trivia night, and even free Vingo on Wednesday evenings.

Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate Gluten Free dietary needs. I have Celiac Disease and have safely eaten here several times. Just be sure to clearly state your need for gluten free.

Great place to grab a bite to eat and watch a game . They also have a great patio in the summer and great drink selection. Plus the manager was really cool and gave great service. Check this place out for sure!

Started out with amazing drinks from the bar and went downhill from there. First, we ordered a beef ribeye and was given an undercooked pork ribeye. When notifying the waitress she said she would make it right. She then brought out the correct ribeye that was not close to being done. I ordered it medium and was given a blue rare steak that was barely warm in the center. The waitress removed it from the bill. On the way out, the bartender laughed and yelled "that's too bad, the manager is right here" and then walked into the kitchen and did not come back out. We waited for a few minutes to speak with the manager (who was sitting at the bar drinking) and we were never given the chance to speak with him as the bottom of his beer glass was always tipped up. Extremely disappointed and would not come back even for free "food".
