First of all, I didn’t feel the most comfortable here. I regret coming here alone. Two men at the bar made me uncomfortable, and then after having one can of beer, I wasn’t served any other alcoholic beverages. I get Dram Shop Laws and all, but I’ve been to lots of other establishments where I’ve felt more relaxed and the staff was more professional.
I don’t think I will be back.

I think they were the worst fries I've ever had in my life. They were cooked 2-3 days ago. They were so stale and had absorbed incredible oil.

Like alot of places the metal open roof attributes to alot of noise. Hard to hear others at the same table. Food tasted great and the server was right there for refills.

I’ve been to Cowboy Jack’s many times for dinner and drinks, but after this experience, I will never return.

My group of six had just finished eating and ordered drinks. While we were talking, one of the staff members — who appeared to be pretending to be a regular customer — was standing near our table. We briefly looked in his direction because his behavior was unusual and we had seen him escort another couple out earlier (a couple we later saw at the next bar, clearly sober and confused as to why they were kicked out).

Apparently, just looking in his direction was enough to set him off. He walked over, tapped me on the shoulder, and said, “You wanna step outside with me?” — loud enough that people around us heard.
Not “Hey, can we talk?”
Not “Is everything okay here?”
Nope — straight to confrontation like he wanted to start a fight. Very confrontational, completely unnecessary, and honestly uncomfortable.

Outside, he questioned why I looked at him. I responded, “I can look wherever I want, can’t I?” His response was, “We’re gonna do it like this?” Again confused I said I wasn’t sure what he’s talking about, then after demanding my name to which I refused the normal guy in a t shirt acting like a cop responded with “how about I can kick out anyone I want. You’re done for the night.”

He then made me wait outside while he went back in and removed the rest of my group — all of us sober, just finished eating, and not causing any issue at all. No explanation, no warning, nothing.

Ego bigger than the building. Zero professionalism. Zero composure. Zero business working in hospitality.

We came for dinner, not to be intimidated by an employee on a power trip.

It was hands-down the most unprofessional, ego-driven behavior I’ve ever seen in the service industry. If this is the type of person Cowboy Jack’s allows to represent their business — someone who lets their emotions dictate who gets kicked out — then I’m done spending money here.

I used to come regularly and brought friends often. After this, I’ll be recommending any other restaurant or bar before Cowboy Jack’s. Huge disappointment.

If I could rate this location zero stars, I absolutely would. I recently moved to Minnesota and decided to visit this restaurant with a group of friends for dinner. What started as a relaxing evening quickly turned into one of the most unprofessional and uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had.
While we were enjoying our meal, one of my friends noticed a man who appeared to be an employee drinking while on the clock. We found that unprofessional we laughed and went on with our conversation. A short while later, the same individual approached our table and, without explanation, removed one of my friends from the bar area. None of us were told why this was happening, and we were all left confused.
Another friend went outside to check on him, and soon after, that friend was also asked to leave. Management never explained why any of this occurred. The situation escalated for no clear reason, and we were forced to close out our checks and leave.
To make matters worse, another younger staff member hovered over one of our friends while we were paying and refused to give him space, even after being asked multiple times. When questioned, that employee stated our friend was removed because he had an “attitude” outside, yet no one could explain what prompted the initial confrontation in the first place.
We pointed out how unprofessional the entire situation was, especially since it affected our server’s tip, and were told that it “doesn’t matter because once you guys get up, someone else will come.” That level of disregard for both customers and staff is unacceptable.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, especially as someone new to the area. It felt like our group was being unfairly targeted or profiled based on how we looked. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location, there are plenty of other restaurants that value professionalism, respect, and customer service. This establishment clearly does not.
The photos attached are of the employees directly involved in this incident. The ones who acted unprofessionally, escalated the situation, and ultimately kicked us out without reasoning.

Was having a good night with food and was escorted out after looking around and causing no problems. Gentleman in the photo would not talk to us at all and pushed us out with no reason

Seen some mixed reviews. But I had excellent service tonight and the food was fresh and hot. Although I came at 8pm and wasn't very busy.

We sat ourselves at a table. Several employees walked past us and didn't ask if we needed help. We finally stopped someone and she was very polite and said she would grab our waitress. Our waitress finally came and took our order. She seemed bothered. I ordered a Margarita on rocks, no salt, (just a suggestion, you should have frozen Margaritas on your menu). My Margarita tasted awful, I only took 2 sips. Tasted like straight Margarita mix. We ordered Nachos and Chicken Finger Basket, no napkins provided, no sauce for chicken provided. Again, the other nice waitress came to our rescue. I ended up giving her a $10 tip because I felt she was our waitress, not the other girl. THIS was Friday night, between 9:30-10:30. We sat at table by kitchen entrance.
