Great restaurant. Love their food. But everything online says crooked pint is dog friendly and when we brought our dog to hang out on the patio, we were turned away - not dog friendly.
Very tasty Mad Pepper Lucy. Just the right amount of heat. Our party of five tried a variety of appetizers, mains and desserts and I heard nothing but positive comments. We will definitely be returning again.
Let me start by saying, I almost never write reviews. But this manager was rude and condescending. We are long time residents of Apple Valley and have dined here many, many times over the years…but tonight was such a disappointment!! They advertise “$3.00 domestic beers” Monday -Saturday 8:00-11:00 for “happy hour”. We were just there (on a Friday night at 9:00). We got 2 Blue Moons and some food. The service was very slow even though we were only one of 6 tables in the restaurant. When our bill came we noticed They charged us over $13 for the two beers. When we inquired about the bill the Waitress said Blue Moon was “not a domestic”. When we pointed out it was brewed in Colorado (according to their menu and Google) she said “I don’t know I just work here”. She did get the manager to come to our table, but she also told us it was “not a domestic…” and followed it up by saying it was only on MGD, MGD light and Coors light (which is also brewed in Colorado) that were on special. But that’s not what their table tent says. Their table sign clearly says “all domestic beer $3.00”. On their own menu it shows blue moon is brewed in Colorado. The manager left our table with our bill and was gone about 12 minutes…she finally can back with the bill to tell us she took $2.00 off each beer. That was an insult to our intelligence. They just lost our business. So disappointing!! She saved a few $$ to lose hundreds of $$ in our business and many more! Such a poorly run restaurant!
We came here allot when they first opened in 2012. We spent the first 2 years as regulars here. Then… we came here twice in a row and they burnt our food to the point of being inedible. Today, after 10 years of avoiding this establishment, and now as a Google reviewer, I decided it was time to go back again. I have nothing bad to say about my visit. Must have better talent in the kitchen these days. Crooked Pint may start seeing me more often than never again.
We were sat right away and had very good service and our food came out quick and exactly as we asked for it.
Stopped by for a beer while running errands. Nice selection of local beers and otherwise. It’s not a brewery so they didn’t have any of their own beers. Very friendly staff and lively atmosphere. Did not have any food so no review on that. Family lives in the area so we’ll be back to try the food….and more beers.
Best Juicy Lucy? Far from it in my experience. There was no cheese inside and my burger was completely overcooked.
Service was great though

it deeply pains me to make this review. i’ve never had an issue here ever before this that crooked pint was in control of, so when this happened, i was taken so afar back that i don’t think i ever want to come back to this location until there is new management and new employees. but these guys were major pos’s this time around for some reason. did a pickup, waited 40 minutes for food, i was explaining the situation to the insanely rude manager and she put her hand in my face so i tried to get it out of my face (not okay for either one of us to do that, but definitely not okay for a manager to act like this, EVER, not to mention the condescending employees when i asked for an update after the 35 minute mark). i damn near didnt get my refund until i threatened with the dakota county attorney generals office. i had to beg for details on whats going on with my order. still this close to calling the attorney generals office.

The worst waffle fries we have ever had. It’s like they microwaved some frozen fries and shook some garlic salt on them. Pic is after we finished eating.
Good service though!

We ordered 3 juicy Lucy's that were on special. When we received the meals the meat was not cooked. Tried to explain to manager that we couldn't eat medium rare meat. We asked why they were not cooked and he said that's because the cheese would come oozing out. Gross. We were not happy about it but we finished our meals. And we were still hungry after we left. We also said no ketchup and low and behold there was ketchup. Eww!
The waitress was also rude. A couple of times she yelled at us across the room if we wanted more water. She should have come to our table and ask.
We will never return there.
This was our first time going there and our last.
The only reason why we went was to try the Juicy Lucy's for $7.99.
Terrible service
If you want crappy food that's the place to go.

A younger man paid for our 8 dinners at the Crooked Pint late yesterday afternoon. I think it was in honor of those who served in the Viet Nam war. He personally came up to the table to say thanks. What a very thoughtful gift?, and thank you. Our server was also very accommodating.

Food sits out in the back for hours before serving. Our pretzel cheese was crusted on the top and nasty. Came here because they were rated top bloody mary in the twin cities. Also mid. lol
