Food just isn't good. Sure, it's a cheap Chinese restaurant, but there's just no flavor. None at all. Sesame chicken was both dry and overcooked. And tasteless. Pepper beef was spongy and tasteless. Fried rice was worse than white rice. And tasteless. Spare ribs were quite old and gross. Only 2 things were palatable. Cream cheese wontons and steamed dumplings were fine. The dumpling sauce (soy ginger) was actually delicious.
I won't be going back. So sad! Cheap Chinese food is supposed to be warm, hearty, satisfying, and flavorful. Don't know what's going on over here...

I stayed close to the East China while going to college. Once a week I would buy their Kung Pao Combo and enjoy it for two days! Absolutely delicious!! Very pleasant family owned business!

Boneless spare ribs lacked any flavor except for extreme amounts of salt.
Fried rice had a weird taste, not sure what but it was not good. How can a Chinese place mess up fried rice?!?
