Homshuk Mexican Kitchen & Bar

Doesn’t seem like many menu items are fresh. The chips and guac are premade. The salsa is as thin as water with no vegetables to be found. The rice tastes frozen and heated up. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t at least make its own chips and salsa. Very over priced. $100 for two people.

Way overpriced; poor quality; small portions; weird, wonky service; incredibly loud, grating atmosphere. Given all of the other one-star reviews, it seems utterly suspicious and crooked that their average star rating is so high. Stay away. This is inauthentic and disappointing to the extreme.

Service was good but the food was horrendous and ridiculously overpriced! Chips were cold and stale, the steak fajitas were extremely unpleasant and the burrito was a huge disappointment. Definitely pass on this place unless you’re looking for mediocre and cold food, a huge waste of $54!!

Carne asada fries very salty and covered in nacho cheese sauce instead of using real cheese to make it authentic. Chicken taco salad was good.

Very disappointed. The food did not match the advertising and social media posts at all. The photos and promotions make the place look much higher quality than what they actually deliver. It honestly felt misleading and overhyped. I wish they were more honest and realistic about what they offer

Once we arrived, the hostess forgot we were waiting for a table inside. Getting our food, took awhile, wasn't that busy at all. The food wasn't great, burnt fish, rice was dry/old. Really surprised, this place is normally good to eat at

HORRIBLE!! If you like good customer service DO NOT GO HERE! The hostess was annoyed I walked through the doors. The tall long grey haired gentleman wait staff told me they were out of food, as I looked through the big window they have into the kitchen, food everywhere. Cooks all cooking… What I wanted sitting right in front of my eyes.

I guess I wasn’t the right type of customer for them. They took one look at me and shut me out as they continued to serve food to all of the other customers around me.

I highly suggest going to El Azteca instead!
El Azteca you walk in and are greeted with smiles and hellos. Thanked for the everything and treated like you’re the most important customer there.
Again Go to El Azteca instead!

We always have such a fun time at Homshuk - lovely staff, delicious drinks (the horchata martini is good every single time), and good food! Harrison is wonderful (and our favorite) and just makes you feel welcome.
We always come here when something big happens and will continue to do so! 🥂

Harrison, we've always been a fan but now we're on to Ravyn. Her service was excellent, food delish as always, we will be back!!!
