I will start this by saying I remember when they used to be called Little Walk and then changed to Lai Wah. I grew up in the area and the food was always good and a good deal for the price. As I read the reviews now, it makes me sad because it is not the Lai Wai I grew up with. The original owners sold the restaurant to one of their chefs and everything changed. I can't remember if it was Lai or Wah that died shortly before the sale, but the new owners are a far cry from...

I have never had a bad meal here. I work in the strip mall where they are located and I love the chicken fried rice, especially, and have also had several other options from the menu. Always fresh tasting and reasonably priced. I love the convenience to my office, as well. I eat here at least once every couple of weeks.

I don’t understand the negative reviews here. I ordered Garlic Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. Both were good. It was the right amount of spice and the chicken was nice and fresh tasting.
