This was probably our 3rd or 4th visit but will probably be our last. We were quickly greeted and seated by a very friendly host. I ordered the French dip and my wife had the turkey club no tomatoes. The person who delivered the food said here is the club no tomatoes but I could clearly see the tomatoes on it. Not a big deal but if you knew it was no tomatoes that’s something you should notice before dropping it off. My French dip had 3 to 4 ounces of meat at the most. It barely covered the bread. This was very disappointing for an almost $20 sandwich. The waiter never mentioned anything about the error on my wife’s meal and when I politely asked if this was the normal amount of meat on the FD he said it was normal but thinks it’s a very small portion. I said he could share my feedback with the manager. The manager never stopped by even though she walked by our table a couple times. The taste of the food was great! The portion size for the price was terrible. The service was below average. The booth had about a box worth of crayons in it.

Food and drinks are great.
Wish they would clear the table of dirty dishes.

We were a group of 14 people having lunch on Thursday afternoon. The restaurant had many empty tables, so not very busy. After ordering we waited an hour (no exaggeration) to get our food delivered. Except, 3 of us still didn't get our food and a young man came out to ask what it was that we ordered. (?!) We waited another 10 - 12 minutes before our meals came out. My order was the Bacon BBQ sliders. There was no bacon on any of the four sliders and on just one of them there was sauce. With apologies, the waitress brought me bacon. The hamburger itself was leathery and dry. Ugh! A total waste of $17.00. One of the ladies ordered a beautiful salad and she'd asked for ranch dressing. After she poured the dressing on the salad and went to take a bite, it was spicy hot. They'd given her sriacha dressing. When she told them she'd requested ranch, they said they didn't have that and brought out another dressing, to just add to her already ruined salad. All in all, no one raved about the food. Several of us quietly shared we wouldn't be back. The server was nice and continuously apologetic for the l-o-n-g wait and the mistakes with the orders. However, the damage was done. I think Tavern Grill lost 14 friendly patrons.

One of the worst servers I’ve ever had and mgmt was very slow to make rite. Got my entree then my salad and lastly my bread over 40 mins in that order. Food was just ok. Would have been one star if mgmt didn’t at least try to make it rite.

I love the tavern grill one of the best restaurants in Minnesota by far and that’s saying a lot 🥱 I love that there is a variety of food options to choose from and if you have dietary restrictions, they also cater to that. Overall, great place!

The tavern has went downhill in the last few months, we used to go frequently like weekly or biweekly but they have increased prices, changed menu and happy hour and also their tavern club rewards that we paid for is no longer valuable, they charge full price and no discounts only points. We won’t be coming back as it’s not worth it anymore, service and food are lacking for price point.

I go there often. I love the "build your own" options. Salads, pizza and burgers. The French Onion soup is some of the best I've had. Food is good and consistent. Service is great. Update: they have changed the menu and taken away some of the menu items we liked. Also, the quality of the ingredients in the build your own salad has gone down. Lastly, they changed the membership program to downgrade the benefits. May not be going there anymore, or as much. Disappointing.

Very nice; lots of windows & nice view outdoors. Waitress was a little too stretched to get great service, although she was very friendly. The dishes we got: seared Tuna, beef sandwich, kid's quasadilla were all great

Really loud place, average and overpriced food, and they charge extra for everything without telling you about the charge. (They charged extra for having my margarita on the rocks...for ice). They also got one of our orders wrong. Service was very average to below average.

Had the brunch buffet and ate off the lunch menu. It was very good and the service was spot on. They had build your own omelet and bloody marys. I also had my son's graduation party hosted in the back private room. The food was amazing, the room was perfect and the staff was top notch. I highly recommend them if you need a private space for an event. Worth every penny and I got to enjoy the day too with family and friend.

Food was ok. Time to get the food was really slow, the restraunt was not that busy. Our waiter Heather forgot several things that we had asked for.
