Alicia is like a mom to all in the community. I enjoy seeing diverse people enter and leave with a smile. If the family and you are looking for a snack or a meal, this is the place to go. I usually get Menudo, plus a torta with a 2 meat combo.
Alicia does a great job running the business. It's not just a bakery. The store has fresh meat and dairy along with products from Mexico. Dried beans by the pound, produce and spices. Definitely a place to check out.
The best authentic Mexican in Austin! The street tacos are my personal favorite, along side the elote (a must try!) But everything here is delicious. Bakery items are always fresh, and service is great.
